A bartender or server is never supposed to serve someone who is already intoxicated. The establishment can be held liable for what happens if they leave, get in a car and wind up killing someone. As to how old someone "looks"? I don't know about you but I can't tell by looking at someone how old they are. Grey hair isn't necessarily an indication. Here's a fun memory. When I lived in TN there was a liquor store nearby owned by a couple of guys. They never asked me for ID. One day one of them said, "Would you mind if I looked at your drivers license?" Of course not. Turns out he and his business partner had a bet. They'd been trying to guess my age. One thought 33, the other 35. I was 46 at the time. Made my day! :) Jill |

'GI Jane' aside in the movie, we don't have any female seals because none have made it. We do have plenty of female SB (closest thing to a Seal). Generally, we females are representative based on percentage across the job areas of the Navy. Higher percent than Army by far. I'll check but I think it is 30-35%? |

Even huge commercial kitchens like Campbells doesn't throw all the ingredients into the vat at the same time and cook it all at the same temperature for the same amount of time. I think Taco Bell uses a slow cooker for reheating their previously made mystery meat chili. The only thing I found a slow cooker does well is to prepare steel cut oats, saves all that constant stirring, however there's still 15 minutes of constant stirring at the end or it'll be all congealed lumps.... but doesn't pay unless one is preparing at least a week's worth of oatmeal at once to reheat each day for breakfast... after about a year I gave my top of the line slow cooker away because we tired of oatmeal. I tried it for other dishes like soups and stews but all were failures in my opinion, especially regarding veggies, always half cooked or cooked to mush. |
