Now I do not mean to imply the Mz Hamilton's words above were by themselves negative or spiteful, but the hate, bitterness, and frustration of Mz Hamilton is evident behind the words. What is it about the women in this group who are hateful? Is there a connection? Of course it could all be in my mind. And even if it's real, so what, there is nothing wrong with hate. It's just an offshoot of lots of other negative stuff and may in the end serve a positive purpose - so I am not opposed to hate, only people I don't particularly care for using it against me. > Tommy (the addled asshole) Joseph It's not all in your mind. I've noticed the same thing among many "further educated" women. It's almost as if, in a way, there is a tendency that they treat you as a lower class or inferior. Several women here tend to mirror that, although I do not think that it is purely intentional in most cases. More often, this happens (with either gender) over the internet, rather than in person. It's possible that part of it is the way that one presents themselves over the internet (either party). That, and people are more opt to type things into a computer terminal that they wouldn't say in person. |
