Ah, I see. I thought that you were saying something like Joan where
"tax increases don't matter" because the tax rate is locked in, as long
as the person doesn't sell. I wish that my area did that.

He can't/won't understand that, or he does and he's playing the NG for
saps. One way to find out... hopefully no more posts when his internet
is cut off.

It's not about giving it away, it's about to whom. I really can't
think of one person I'd give a big gift of cash to. I already
contribute to a medical center for cats, I'd probably give them more.
No religeon would get a nickle from me, contributing to any religeon
would be tantamount to flushing it down the toilet and/or molesting
children. Sexual molestation is the primary purpose of all religeons.

Too many folks here jump the gun and call people a liar without proof.
I don't know why the first reaction is always to tell someone that they
are lying. You've done it your fair share of times, Gary. I do my
darnedest not to call people out on what they post unless I'm certain.

Fancy mixer. I have a similar Kitchen Aid, in silver, that was a
Christmas present 2 years ago. I don't have any attachments for it,
just the beaters that it came with. I do have a hand crank meat grinder
that clamps to the counter. It's new in box from the 1940s... I'm going
to clean it up and use it one of these days.

True, in a way, but that "my people" mindset is what plays right into
the "reparations" nonsense. You have no control over what your
ancestors did generations and generations ago, nor is it your fault.

I never understood why the Polish are the butt of the joke. That being
said, I can't help but to bust out laughing watching Archie Bunker
tearing into "Meat-head".

I do NOT like women's bodies being abused! I like watch capacious porn stars willingly ACTING like they love DPs with BBC! Well lubricated.

Yeah, super over-grown yard, but it was in amazing shape inside. They
haven't painted the wood outside since, and I can tell that it really
needs to be painted now.

> But getting back to the houseguest. When I was a kid I got a hold of a few books by Henry Miller I wanted to read because they had 'fuck' and other verboten words in them. I quickly bored of them. But one book, Tropic of Cancer, or Capricorn, came with other short stories, and the one that finished the book was the only thing I liked by Miller and it had no cursing at all in it. It was called "A Devil in Paradise" and was about a needy friend he invited over from Paris to stay at his Big Sur California home and wouldn't leave. All sorts of excuses. Lots of conniving. It was funny. I enjoyed it. I'm sure everyone has experienced the unwanted guest motif. (I use the word motif even if not always proper because I like the word). The motif, the formula, whatever - to me it has always been funny as seen from both sides. Trying to get rid of someone without getting forceful can be quite the comedy. Not while it's happening - not to the host anyway - but later when i
t's over. I heard your comments about the guest in the house you covet and imagined you letting him stay only to later want him out and not being able to get rid of him without calling for outside help or getting ultra forceful on your own as the guy continues to use the "Come on man, just one more day" routine on you.................. The image is entertaining.

He sure seemed like a nice guy, but that scenario is all too possible.
Getting the law involved would be a crappy ending. The last time that I
tried to help someone out (turned out to be a heroine junkie), it did
not end well. I don't care to dredge that story up again, but I told
him in the end (after months and months, maybe a year) that I'd run him
over with my car if he bothered me again.
