I wouldn't use oil on it. You can just wipe it down with a dry rag then damp rag and dry it. Has worked well for me. I guess the "pro" is you don't have to buy mineral oil. |

I love it. I knew the first time I saw one being used that it was for me. I used to read two papers every day. Not all the way through, only the stuff I found amusing or entertaining in some way. Today I read maybe two papers a week. I go through them and tear out pages with articles that seem interesting if only on the basis of the headline. I create my own little magazine. Anyway, having been a newspaper reader for 50 years I can tell you there are way more typos and other error today than ever, and I think it's because of the computer keyboard. I can tell by studying the mistakes - and believe me, you can't go a page without finding at least one - that they are caused by editing with the computer keyboard, going back and deleting a bunch of words wholesale and replacing them with something they think is better, only to not notice that in the process they left in a word or two that doesn't fit into the newly edited version. I love the computer keyboard. It makes editing and changing things up easy, which is good for recreational writing. But the so-called pros should be held to a higher standard. I am not a pro at anything. I hate work, or more specifically jobs. When it comes to a job people say you should find something you love to do. But I don't care how much I like doing something, if I do it for money it's a job - and it will suck even if I have to make it happen. |

I didn't get a demeaning or challenging vibe from his words. I think he genuinely wanted to know. You are correct, they are entitlement programs - and believe me I am entitled. I worked for minimum wage most of my life. I worked for the weekend, never thought I'd get anywhere through work and still think the vast majority of people won't either. So I worked just to get by. I paid into the system. I'm getting what I deserve, the bare minimum, $800 a month plus food stamps and cheap rent in a HUD place. Some people sound jealous and resentful of my position. But if given an opportunity to trade places with me, I guarantee they wouldn't take it. I am content with it although if I somehow came into big money I'd find another place to live. But I'm not looking. I moved in here 4 years ago at age 70 and tend to see it as my final stop. Thanks. |

I thought this would be a good time to order some KN-95 masks. It is not. The prices have gone up around 300% since I last ordered them from Amazon. That's the breaks. |

Navy came out with fast 'how to make a mask' then you were told you had to have one to get onbase or inside your office. This was before the CDC mandate by some 2-3 weeks. We were to make our own. Even a simple bandana was ok at the start. An old Tshirt, a stapler, and 2 rubber bands were acceptable. |

No they aren't. The FDA has very strict rules about what you can and can't use for different situations. Fogging and even most even spot spraying is out of the question with food in the warehouse. And before any food goes back into the warehouse the warehouse must be thoroughly cleaned. This is just more bullshit you made up to try and explain yet another paranoid, irrational phobia of yours. -sw |
