I have ALWAYS felt OUT OF PLACE with ANY group of my Fellow Humans!

NO ONE just automatically LIKES me! Everyone MAKES ME EARN their acceptance!
I LIKE people who look different! I find my Fellow White People here in the
U.S. easiest to INITIALLY earn their acceptance, but as soon as I SPEAK with
them, their acceptance seems to FADE!

Because I KNOW I am smart, and know LOTS of things and as soon as I speak,
they realize I'm VERY smart, and THEN I make them feel UNCOMFORTABLE in
their own Skin and SEEK to get away from me! Overtly OR MOSTLY COVERTLY!!

John, I don't think anyone is accepted automatically. One has to get to
know a person to do that.

It is, and it happens even among the other races. There is black/black
discrimination as an example. Goes back to the beginning of mankind.

I don't see it going away. You cannot legislate feelings and attitudes
and thoughts.

It is curious that people will dump on white people for the excluding
people of other races while other races and cultures are just as biased,
but only white people can be racist these days. Slavery was never
really a thing here, except among the native people, but we now have a
significant black population, primarily from the Caribbean, and a lot of
them have a chip on their shoulder about 500 years of slavery.... that
happened to previous generations in other places. Not wanting children
to date or marry people of another race is not exclusive to whites.

Yes. You often make sweeping statements about Americans, and about white
people. No prejudice there.

Possibly, I can't really say how things are in your country. My guess is that it mostly happens where socioeconomic inequalities exist along racial lines. It didn't happen here because most of the people here were on the same boat - dirt poor working in the cane fields.

Da Hawaiians love to talk about race and culture. The curious thing about the people on mainland is that it's not PC to do that. The mainlanders just freak out when people mention race. It is a problem that will continue to vex America because, while people of color have to confront this reality most days, white folks can't even decide whether or not such a problem exists. It's a deeply repressed, mass delusion.

There is a mixture where I live and I never see any problems. Everyone
is kind and pleasant to each other. I do however hear about it in some
places in UK. I can't speak about everywhere, because of course, the only
time we hear about it is when there 'are' problems.

I have to say though I have never lived anywhere like that and I never
want to. I grew up with a mixed family next door and the boy my age was my
best friend. I just heard he had died in 2013:(( I don't give a fig about
race. Personality and kindness are all that are important to me.

No, Oph. That is the perfect candidate to get a bullet between
the eyes immediately. Forget political correctness where we allow
all kinds of weirdos to claim their oddities these days. Too many
ppl on this earth these days and fuckups like that guy needs to
go immediately. Don't baby their warped brains, just end it.

Enough is enough with all this political correctness bullshit.
Also just the transgender nonsense in general. These fucked up
ppl don't need understanding or operations, they need to get
serious mental health therapy...or just shoot them. Not
joking...this odd crap has gone out of control lately.

IMO, many of these weird ass people should have remained in the
closet.
We don't want to hear about or see that crap. Like the Bruce
Jenner nonsense. Now he's a fake woman and still just as messed
up in the head as he ever was.

Sure. No problem. Not everybody likes milk.

Personally, I'm not all that fond of wine. I'd rather have water, but
I'm not a pill about it. If wine is served at dinner, I'll sip along
with everybody else.

Things aren't so sweet in this house, we're going to be eating junk food during the weekend. Our refrigerator has crapped out and there's food in boxes in the kitchen. Our kitchen faucet hose has sprung a leak so a new hose has to be sent in from the mainland. I ordered a part for the refrigerator but it takes 3 days to get here. Our TV reboots every few minutes. It's a real shitstorm out here. :)

I always thought "shrimp on the barbie" bullshit was pointless.
They cook so quickly that they get no flavor from the grill, or even
grill marks (slight flavor of burnt shrimp but at the risk of
overcooking). and that threading skewers bullshit.

Unless all you have is a grill.

I didn't mean that natural was organic. Only that some people see the
word natural and assume that it means organic. In other words, it's
all the same to them which is why manufacturers use these iffy terms.

I'm confused. Do you have a bag of salt or a bag of pretzels? or
maybe you meant to say "batch" twice?

Anyway, I just use Morton kosher salt and leave the "variety of
toppings" to dips. Beer cheese, [honey] mustard, sriracha mayo,
garlic butter, Sqwertz #42 (equal amounts Chili Crisp, mayo, and
butter). Yes, I know you can't eat any of those, and I don't care
if you can.

One thing I do ask out of curiosity, is how big is that bag of
pretzel salt?
