German is NOT a race, however certain inferior brained believe
otherwise... German is an ethnicity. Kraut is simply the German for
cabbage... Some Germans indeed possesss the IQ of a cabbage. The
Germans are in fact as a group rather sour and humorless.

Thank you for clocking it. Now I have to remind myself how big a
teaspoon is by looking at one.... ;-) (I don't measure often)

My 1040's KitchenAid (Hobart's home brand) coffee mill is a burr grinder. My coffee slicer is bladed.

I KNOW what the hell I'm doing with coffee, believe me! Mixers, blenders, etc too! All FOOD PROCESSORS! Think about it! ;-) In fact cooking IS a food process!

I don't keep track the way you do. Maybe she's changed her mind. Maybe

Here is the recipe:

Mom's Apple Cake Nancy Dooley

4 C. Diced apples
2 C. sugar
2 eggs (I always use Jumbo in baking)
1/2 C. oil
2 tsp. Vanilla
2 C. flour
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Combine apples and sugar for 30 minutes. Beat eggs slightly. Add oil and vanilla. Mix. Sift dry ingredients. Stir alternately with apple/sugar mixture into liquids. Bake in 9 x 13" loaf cake pan at 350 deg. for 1 hour, or until tests done in center. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost with caramel butter frosting. Serves 12-15.

Enjoy! This has always been a favorite recipe. I have probably made it more than a dozen times, and it has always been a great dessert for pot-lucks.

No, never. If it would become too hot, I'd use less peppers. I thought
Jalapeno peppers were mild anyway.

yes I will agree
however properly stored pepper will last you at least 2-3 years and
retain its flavor...

Ginger, maybe a few weeks you really can not compare the two because
ginger is a moist spice peppercorns are dry

I didn't guess you followed the recipe too closely, you cant use less
peppers 1 pepper makes 1 stuffed pepper or 2 half's anyway...

If you use a well ripe pepper (the larger the jalapeno the hotter it
will be) it will be very vey very spicy... I know I have made the
recipe before and was not entirely precise when I scraped the seeds
out and perhaps a few stragglers were left behind. I completed the
recipe and they were delicious but oh man they burned the hell out of
my mouth. I am what has been described as a super taster so even a few
of the seeds was hot... and the heat lasted like 10 minutes even after
drinking water, brushing my teeth, rinsing with mouthwash...

Actually I was just talking to bruce about this subject, I am what can
be classified as a super taster.... things that are kinda spicy for
you will make me wince uncomfortably with a spicy lounge

I'm used to habaneros and they're much stronger. But nobody's going to
fill those and eat them whole, of course. And not just because they're
too small. I've also grown Bishop's crown chillies, but even they are
too hot to eat whole.

look up cherry breeze recipe if you want the
original. it is a quick cheesecake filling (as i
said "quick" quite intentionally there).

i don't make baked cheesecakes. i don't really
much like eggs in a lot of things and the other
thing is that we don't really like crusts for
pies or such so i like to make the quick filling
version and then just eat it as is or with some
fruit.

lately, i'm not even doing this. gotta pare
back the food until spring/summer - i'm getting
too plump again. lol

heat skillet on medium heat
Make your pancake mix according to the directions.
if needed cut your sausage to the size needed
Put the egg ring inside the skillet
put a few drops of olive oil inside the egg ring put 1/4 cup pancake
mix inside the egg ring
drizzle 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup in the egg ring on top of the cooking

Pour a little water outside the egg ring but in the skillet, cover the

repeat this process one more time

few drops of Olive Oil inside egg ring
crack your egg and empty egg inside egg ring, watch for loose shells
break the yolk of the egg and allow a few minutes to cook, flip if

while the cheese is melting assemble your sandwich

place one pancake then egg pull your sausage/cheese off leave the egg
