Frankly, I think her lies are hilarious, the daughter who was a dancer one week and disabled the next, the husband who she was upset with because he used to stop and get supper at a restaurant but then denied writing that. The story about buy meat and then cooking it and freezing it as soon as she gets home. There was the mysterious man with a turban who chased her with his broom, the birds getting to the bread in the grocery store. One of the more notables was the story about her having been a writer. When questioned about how she could be a writer and not know the meaning of the word "ignorant" she said she was not a writer and never said she was. Someone else went to the effort of digging through her old posts and found several where she had said she was a writer. Then she said she did not remember posting that. Later on she again wrote about being a writer. There is the gardener and his marital status. The list goes on. You don't have to try hard to keep track of her stories. They are so strange and so obviously bullshit that it is hard not to recall them. I have suggested to her several times that she should find a way to keep notes on her stories so that she doesn't get caught telling another lie when it contradicts an earlier lie. What is more amusing is the way several people here continue to indulge her. Even some of the veterans are dumb enough to get sucked into replying to her request for advice only to have her find one reason after another to reject the advice. Then there are those who feel compelled to defend her. She is their convenient idiot. They can feel noble about coming to her defense even though they must realize that she is a lying idiot who doesn't have enough credibility to defend herself. |

Apparently she had planned to do it the way I had once done it for her, but she was busy with something so I had to take over and do supper. It was an 8 rib rack. I very finely minced two medium sized cloves of garlic. They went into a bowl with about a half cup of bread crumbs with a mixture of about herbs, about one tablespoon total. I used rosemary, thyme and savory. A cast iron pan was heated up, some olive oil added and the the ribs were brown on all the ends and fatty side and top. Then I brushed it with Dijon mustard and then pushed the ends and outside into the crumb mixture in the bowl and extra crumbs pushed onto all parts. The Frenched bones were wrapped in foil and the rack went into a 375 oven for 30 minutes. |

You didn't surprise me by jumping in with a personal insult and showing not an inkling of a idea of the way pensions work. You invest in them and then when you are old enough and/or contributed into it long enough you get to retire and collect. Private pension plans to not pay pensions to people who never contributed. There is no reason for people to be able to collect on pensions they never paid into. CPP is passed on contributions. If you never paid into it you don't get to collect. |

I think you could try it in an 8x4 pan but I think that would be pushing it. My husband said it is a keeper and I agree. It is way tasty and luscious. I am not a lover of cinnamon but in this bread it is just right and doesn't lord it over the whole thing. It is wonderful when you but into the cooked apple chunks. I have been looking for something like this for a long time. I've tried the cakes but they didn't seem to have enough oooph to carry apple pieces of any size. I'm passing the recipe on to my daughter and some friends. Janet US |
