Maybe your habits. Many people who adopt strict
diets for quick weight loss go back to their old habits
afterward.

If you go on a strict diet, and it "changes your habits", then have you
really gone off your diet at all? I'd much rather learn to eat healthfully
to keep weight stable and/or lose than be on a "permanent" strict diet.
I've kept all my lost weight off for 12 continuous years, and I don't
"diet" to keep it off.

I think it's a matter of terminology. You didn't so much diet, but
changed your lifestyle. If you'd been dieting the weight would have
come back the moment you stopped.

Not ALL Tech uses electricity! Forks, knives, etc. are tech which use NO electricity!

Think outside the box? No, I always say WHAT BOX?

The so-called evil Chinese landlord didn't want to be bothered with it
anymore. He sold it for above market value to a sucker.

Naw... he's going to make an expensive switch to all electric even
though natural gas is a lot cleaner and probably cheaper. He thinks
he's making some sort of statement.

At some point he'll be wishing he'd actually been offered and taken a
nursing job. Anyone want to guess why that offer (if there was one)
suddenly disappeared? Even without the past reports, his constant
ranting about Cuppa Plus cannabis oil might have something to do with
it. If anyone thinks potential employers don't check social media,
they're idiots. Anyone can Google. And his rants would be prolific.
Would you hire him to take care of a sick child in your home? Didn't
think so.

The only thing I glean from these rants is he needs to take his medication.

I don't go through lemons like you do but a bit of grated lemon zest
adds brightness to many dishes. It doesn't make the dish taste like
lemons, just adds a little something. Most people couldn't identify
what that extra ingredient is but it can make a difference.

A twist of lemon does wonders for a Manhattan.

Agreed. I do tend to use a small pad to write my lists but the back of
an envelope would work just as well. Problem is I don't get a lot of
snail mail so I don't have a ready supply of envelopes to re-purpose.

My mother used to use old envelopes. I don't often bother with a
shopping list, but when I do, I tend to look for an old envelope to
write it on. Since most of the mail I get is junk it is a good way to
re-use and recycle.

See? Now he admits to having one but he's hard-wired it so it's
basically a land line. LOL

>> Now in this house, we have no Phone Utility! And Internet was always rolled into the rent, so that's what I do too! I itemize the other utilities, gas, electric, garbage, water, sewer, etc. Big Bucks rentals roll everything into Rent, which is bullshit! Makes Rents Astronomical!! My house room rents are NOT astronomical! And we all share itemized Utils! Kind of Mini-Socialism!

There's no difference. Personally, I'd prefer to have a the itemization
so I can be sure I'm being charged my fair share. Then again I've never
rented a room in a house with a bunch of strangers.

Oh, I can remember some 30 years ago seeing ads in the newspaper for
apartments (actual *apartments*, not a room for rent in someone's house)
where the water utility was included in the rent. Not electric or gas
and definitely not Ma Bell.

It all sounds really good with the exception of the vanilla ice cream. I just
don't equate ice cream with gelatin. But like you, I opt for the store brand
Jell-O 99% of the time and usually it's the sugar-free I reach for.

If you ever have both, give it a try sometime. Just plain vanilla
ice cream though, not some flavor.

It all sounds really good except for the jello and bananas.
I'll eat my vanilla ice cream by itself, thanks.

I have not had ice cream and jello for years and years, but I remember
that it was a great combination.

It's much better than just Jello, imo.
And for Cindy...yes, plain vanilla ice cream is good too.

There are too many people on the right who deem a government run health
care system to be communist and downright un-American. There area number
of western democracies that have wonderful health care systems that
treat everyone and spend less on health care than Americans. The
lobbyist for the for profit health care business have all sorts of
stories about wait times, and how others have to travel to the US for
treatment. They don't tell you about the Americans travelling for
medical procedures.

Hmmmmmm, I never get a 'renewal' letter nor bill from AARP/United Healthcare.
Maybe that's because it's paid automatically each month through my bank. BUT
you don't have join AARP to check the prices of the plans they offer. How-
ever when I joined AARP it was a onetime fee for 5 years and that was a re-
duced fee since it was for more than one year.
