You've seen those, too?? I've not seen them on FB but have seen them on the
internet; "clickbait."

Doubtful. It never looked like much in those dresses of the 20's, 30's and
40's.

No, Eleanor did not have pretty choppers but her false teeth looked better.

You're absolutely right about her rack. I guess it's because she reminds me of my granny. Funny how the mind plays tricks like that. :)

Yep. I fell for them a few times. I'd do the test and think that only
someone at the far left of the bell curve would not ace it.

Not verified by my quick google search. I first heard the expression in
the sixties, so it was before that. I'd love to actually know who said
it first. Talking any one of the three all day would be boring to me.

I find it extremely important for journalists and media personalities
to tell me what to think. Their agenda is driven by their bosses.
I believe it all!

I'm a world class beer drinker, and I had to look growler up. If I ever
find a glass jug growler of the appropriate brand [Budweiser], I'll
post a picture of me taking a swig with the bottle crooked in my elbow.
Wait with bated breath and all that :)

Sorry, but I disagree. I think it is important for journalists to
report the truth. They should be fair and balanced, what Fox says they
are, not what Fox is.

I had a breakfast item about 20 years ago. Can't remember what it was but I
do remember tossing it after one bite. We were staying at a place that
offered a free breakfast but all they had were donuts and sweet looking
muffins, neither of which I eat. In those days I would have eaten a bran
muffin but they had none.

McDonalds was next door so I got something there. Angela was a baby and we
were in a hurry to get on the road. After that, I made sure to keep some
crackers and peanuts in the car so I always had something to eat.

We made one cross country move where our only quick option for food was
McD's. We did stop once at a truck stop but that wasn't quick. We had a
small child and a cat so it needed to be quick. Thankfully that year, they
did have a salad that Angela and I liked but that varied by location and a
few had odd things like hot dogs or soup and not the salad that we liked.
But salad alone wasn't very filling so we'd always get something else and
split it but we never cared for whatever it was.

When we were in NY, the BK at the Brooklyn Army base had tacos. They weren't
very good for tacos but they were better to me than the burgers. I have
never liked the burgers or fries at BK or Wendy's. Too greasy. And their
fries seem anemic and tasteless. Years ago, Wendy's had a salad bar with
pita bread. I did like that!

A growler is simply meant to be a container to transport fresh local
beer to your home. The beer in question does not come in bottles it
is pulled from a tap of local brew.

I can't disagree about that. Men usually do have larger meat servings
than women. Maybe it is a matter or heredity or perhaps it is the way we
were raised. Neither of my parents had large portions of meat. My mother
would do a roast at least once a week and we would have one or two more
dinners with the leftovers. My wife's family are all carnivores. My
mother would cook a turkey for 15 people and have leftovers. MiL would
cook the same size turkey for 10 and the bird was devoured.

I can understand your feelings about aubergine. It can take a while to get used to the weird texture and nondescript taste. In my case, it took 40 years. Riced cauliflower is okay. I don't like preparing the stuff because it gets messy and I like to be in control of what I'm cooking at all times. :)
