Don't forget about the crematorium. Particularly if John prefers a 'no
strings' kind of relationship.

Seriously though, those are nice but don't offer much closet
space. Does your bedroom not have a closet or do you just want
extra closet space. Perhaps your bedroom was not meant to be a
bedroom?

When I first moved here 100 years ago, I shared a 2-story, 3
bedroom condo with 3 other fellows for a year. One of them turned
the dining room into his bedroom by hanging curtains on the
doorway openings - one to living room and one to kitchen. He had
no closet because of this. He used the hall closet near the front
door, usually used for coats, etc.

I've been plucking basil for a week or two.

If I were growing tomatoes, I would have put them in the ground a
week or two ago. Michigan tomato season is August and September,
unless you're willing to mess around with cloches and stuff to
get them in earlier.

Check the ingredients on the bag for sodium tripolyphosphate. That will
make the scallops retain quite a bit of fluid, so you're paying scallop
prices for crappy water.

Fatback isn't smoked, though.

I know it's time to buy bacon when our stash of bacon grease is getting
low.

Canned green beans are already overcooked. They don't need to simmer
on the stove.

Congratulations. You got a deal! I've seen them on the Antiques
Roadshow and that's usually what the price was for a that watch in a
ship's/military store for. Those were the days! Try to find one of
them anywhere for $36 these days. Won't happen. Congrats. :)

Mine isn't solar powered. I've got a Timex. "Take's a lickin' and
keeps on tickin'." LOL The watch cost about $20 dollars and the battery
lasts about 5 years. I suppose I could buy an $8 battery. I'd have to
take it to a jeweler since I don't have fine instruments for doing
things with watches. They'd charge me an ungodly amount of money to
change the battery. Or I could just buy another $20 watch. :)

sushi: "I prefer my food cooked". Gary could have said that. Huh-huh.

It sounds very complicated. Terry has lots of land which I imagine is
also required. You wouldn't want hives right next to the house! It's
fun to have someone so knowledgeable about bee-keeping here on RFC. I
must say I never really thought much about the life-cycle of honey bees
before.
