| Terry Coombs <snag_one@msn.com>: Apr 19 07:50PM -0500 And that's what we had for dinner . Actually this is the second time I've made this recipe (https://pinchofyum.com/lo-mein) first try was with beef and fettucini for the noodles , this time it was linguine and shrimp . It was pretty good both times , better the second try . I only have regular soy sauce and it calls for some dark , which will be arriving in a few days - not available locally so I had to order it online . It's supposed to be even tastier with the dark soy , I kinnardly wait ! We have a real fondness for good lo mein , and there's nowhere near here that has it . I'll probably never match our favorite Chinese food place , but I'm getting close ! -- Snag Yes , I'm old and crochety - and armed . Get outta my woods ! |

Hopefully, it isn't working on you. > Yes, Trump didn't seem to realise that. "I am the President. I am the > authority" and all that. That was hilarious :) The President realizes it completely. He won't do what he can do. He is the final authority, and every State's governor would love him to make the decision to open or keep their state closed. Then they could blame him if/when things went to hell. The Democrat Party would love him to exercise full wartime powers as well. Remember, Bruce, nobody knows sh*t, but we're getting smarter every day. Not one soul on Earth knows how this mess will play out. Statistics only show what's happening right now and happened in the past. Extrapolation of covid statistics is best left to carnival seers. President Trump only has best guesses to rely on. So do the governors and the World. Nobody is certain if a palliative is right around the corner, already here or never to be. Hang in there buddy! leo |
