Fire roasting is to help discard the skin of the pepper slips off so the true flavor can come out. These are the sweetest and tastiest I have ever had. When my Costco has them every other holiday season. I buy about 12 or 16 jars to get me through for the next time.

Be sure and blurt out you had a 'cuppa' before coming for orientation and
how you ripped and farted on your new Nordic Track.

Slamming doors is the signal.

That's what was said in the beginning.
Only sick people wear one.
Now they tell even healthy people to wear one.
It's all a good thing though.
Better safe than sorry.

I don't think it was about healthy people wearing them. It's about
people wearing them even if they are not showing symptoms because they
could be carrying them and have not (yet) become ill.

You've never shopped at WallyWorld?? You're in for a shock, they have the
same national brands as your favorite supermarket. And like your favorite
supermarket they have their own house brand of goods.

Walmarts here are monitoring how many are allowed in the store at one time.
Also, their hours are greatly reduced. You want to shop at 8:00 p.m.?
Forget it, they're closed. You like to shop at the crack of dawn, head to
Walmart when they have their 'senior hours' and shelves are well-stocked.

If your favorite store doesn't have something you desperately need such as
toilet paper, eggs, or milk, get out of your comfort zone and check out
another store.

Not at all. The gay man fru-fru voice is not like any woman
would speak. Silly argument from you.

Many more nincompoops right here in RFC, Davers.

OK...I'm done for the day (applause). I'm writing too much lately
but only because the volume of posts here are large lately.

Not an argument. A request for information. I myself have never
been able to tolerate the voices of Melanie Griffith or Jennifer Tilly.

I don't know why gay men feel the need to act like women. I don't
know why women feel they need to do half the stuff they do, either.

They have the exact opposite effect on me.

Some gay men really go overboard with the effeminate behaviour. A friend
of mine was dating a girl who had a gay make friend that they used to
bring along with them when they visited. It was never a problem. He was
a nice enough person. One day the girlfriend cautioned us not to say
anything about him being gay. She said he didn't want people to know he
was gay. I had to chuckle because that guy set off gaydar before even
opened his mouth.

Indeed he is. I wish he knew it.

1. He thinks he's the President only of people who voted for him. The
rest of us can go pound sand.

2. He has no idea what the office of the President is supposed to be.

Apparently he found that is is great source of leverage if you want
another country to dig up dirt on a political opponent's family.

Unless you receive your carryout food and stick it right up
your nose or in your eye, you're vanishingly unlikely to get
COVID-19 from restaurant food. The digestive tract is
inhospitable to coronavirus.

We tried to get take out food one night last week. We had forgotten to
get something out of the freezer in time to thaw for supper. Not a
problem. Call for take-out and help to keep the local restaurants in
business. The two in out little village had phone messages saying they
had decided to close, I then tried the "downtown" restaurants. They
were closed. I finally got a message that said they were open and busy
so leave a message and they would call back. They called back about 5
minutes later and thanked me for the call.... but they closed on
Tuesdays, and it was Tuesday.

There is a Vietnamese and a Thai restaurant in town, but I was not
prepared to try to order by phone. There are serious language barriers
in both places. They seem to have convinced themselves that they speak
English, but it is extremely hard to make yourself understood, and even
harder to understand them. If it's that bad in person I am not ready to
try to order over the phone.

I don't think I have ever been hungry enough that a McDonalds burger
sounded good.

Nope. Only 2 princesses here. Julie that fully admits it and you
in full denial. Julie has many food issues but even you are
a close second, yet you pick on her just like you do John.

I might one day call Carol a saint as she does care for
and support her friends and local neighbors.
Big difference.

That's a bit DUMB. Since neither of you like poulty, why not
start a NEW tradition for Thanksgiving. One year I ate two
PBJ sandwiches for Thanksgiving. (too lazy to cook for just me)

Some people and some groups just don't buy into the system. Then when
they fail at something they blame it on racism. Then they are content
to sit back and collect welfare, get drunk or stoned and turn all the
blame on others. Meanwhile, people of all other races and cultures are
coming here and improving their lives.
