I keep my most excellent of systems very low volume and do not play my djembe very loudly either!

I shut it all down evenings. It's been off since 8PM or so.

To keep my place in their line! Old World Roofing is very busy! Lotta tile/slate roofs in STL! STL was an old brick town! Lotta mansiony homes in the CWE/Barnes Hospital area! Where I rented for 14 years after my Ex and I split up and I went through WashU's Computer Engineering school! And was first introduced to shared student living!

Glad I ended up where I'm at now, I could not have afforded to fix any of those big mansiony places up, but this one, yep! :-)

It had to be! And is, now!

*I* need to call them, very early, as John the owner is VERY BUSY! Always is! As I said, STL is an old brick and tile town! They make very good $$ Most roofers won't touch a tile roof, most roofers just want to throw cheap asphalt shingles and call it good enough, for 20 years and then more roofing business. A tile roof is a 100 year roof, and the house I'm in now was completed in 1930 with a tile roof! So it is time!

I will call them tomorrow, early! See where they are at and when they can get to my house's roof. It's #1 on my 5-13-2020 Wed list, cause I wanna know too!

You need to give them a whole lot more money too. Remember, you're
a 21st century man on a 300 year plan, so you'll need them several
more times.

I've got a brand spanking new set of leopard print sheets that I've washed
but haven't used yet. They are in rotation to use them in a few weeks.

Hahaha Leopard print. I had to look at the top of the screen to
make sure you weren't kuth :)

MEOW!

You better sit down. Right now, at this moment, a set of zebra print
sheets are on the bed. Next week it will be plain, solid light pink
sheets.

Walmart is the cheapest overall for groceries here. I buy organic, grass fed
beef there. Before this virus, I would sometimes find it marked down. I'd
usually buy it all and freeze it. I will occasionally buy a name brand of
chicken breasts. Mostly I buy frozen foods there, but also cheese, sometimes
bread, crackers, tortillas, pasta and milk. They have organic canned
lentils.

Winco brand canned vegetables are cheaper and so are their paper towels. I
used to alternate between stores, but Angela said the lines are far too long
there. so I haven't been there in months. I do have her pick me up some
cottage cheese when she goes because they have the Alpenrose brand and
that's my favorite.

That's not true here. Anything on the baking aisle is hard to come by. So is
long grain white rice, except for Jasmine. And most dried beans are not
there. Sometimes the vegetables I want are not there.

We've been mainly living off of frozen foods now.

Nah, Popeye never got that far.
"Julie Bove" <juliebove@frontier.com>: May 12 06:10PM -0700

In this area, I often find milk for cheap. 89 cents for two quarts the last
time and $1.99 for a gallon of chocolate. Seems like milk is not selling
very well.

Cheese like cheddar seems to have remained at a stable price.

But cottage cheese? In the last year, the price has almost doubled! Why?

I once asked the produce guy if they had any Italian parsley (flat-leaf)?
He said no, all they had was the 'regular kind.' Duh, Italian parsley
IS the regular kind, at least it is to me. All they had in stock was
the curly leaf variety.

In my world the curly leaf parsley is the regular stuff.

I'm not going to comment on what Canadians do. My guess is that you've just never noticed how cashiers will ring up produce. If it's not bagged by weight or if there's no UPC labels on the produce they'll enter a code on their register. Sometimes they have to look it up but the good ones have got the codes memorized. What's the big deal? All you have to do is pay attention to the gal's hands instead of her tits the next time you buy produce. You get the last word.
