Apart from obvious opinions (cilantro is yummy), my posts are much more
factual than the predictions that you pull straight out of your ass.

Do you have any examples of this or do you believe that it's true because you say it is? That's very poor, limp, and lame.

It is not uncommon for the media to use stock photos. It has been going
on for year. When I was a kid my friend's father had a Time-Life book
series about WWII. There was a photo of an elderly Frenchman crying as
he watched the German troops marching into Paris. In November 1963 I
saw the same photo in a newspaper. According to the caption, it was a
Frenchman crying at the news of the assassination of JFK.

Stock photos are the outcome of having news/informational items on an internet that demands attractive web pages that dazzle the eye. And anyway, pople today don't like having to read articles with a lot of words.

They should, however, try to cool it when using pictures with current news events. My guess is that's not going to happen. Stock photos are also used on cooking sites. A lot of recipes will use photos that don't even come close to the actual dish. Stock photos are also used by scammers selling products that don't exist or that they do not own. It's the wild, wild, West out there!

Twenty years down the line, you think about all the happy days and you say to yourself "That was the best five bucks I ever spent!" You write a book called "The Kid and I and the Trout." It becomes an international best seller.

I'd spend the 5 bucks for a chance to get an international best seller.

My dad has a smoker somewhere in the house. He also had a red kamado and a green kamado. I never saw him use those. What I did see him use was a red 55 gallon drum. He'd smoke chicken and beef chuck steaks for my mom's annual Christmas party. It was totally awesome. He'd bring it into the house and cut it up. The chicken looked raw because the smoke colored the meat red. The chuck steaks were the opposite of how they were supposed to be - red on the outside and cooked on the inside. I asked my dad about where he learned to do this. He said it was just something he came up with.

Careful, RFC doesn't appreciate vegetarianism. If you don't torture
animals on a regular basis, you can't be a good ol' patriot.

I'm so proud of you! You got hired and worked a long shift, and
still staying a true vegetarian.

Hope your VSTD meal turns out great.

Since the nature of manufactured foods is not always apparent from
the ingredient list:

You may be interested to know that it's a shelf-stable, sweetened
sauce intended to imitate mayonnaise with horseradish mixed in.

Or not.

Yes, I figured it was a toned down horse radish.

Let me ask you a question. Is horseradish like ginger? Can I just
stick a piece of horseradish in the ground and a few weeks later it
will sprout up?

This is where the news lies and does not tell the entire story. The
reason there was long lines for one or two days is because they
limited the number of people inside a store...

I don't care enough about the interface. The "information" is the same
whether it's 1980s vintage rn or the latest, slickest app with all the
bells and whistles.

We don't have any pizza place here, the closest is a Pizza Hut some 15
miles away. Last week we felt like having pizza for lunch so bought
one from a convenience store, no brand, just a small frozen pie, 6
tiny slices, for $8 heated in their microwave... the cardboard box it
came in was worth more than that pie... first and last time... I could
have done much better at home from scratch but didn't feel like it. We
used to have a very good Italian restaurant in town but they are gone
for more than 8 years and that store is still empty. They had great
pizza and fantastic calzone. We ate dinner there about once a week
and suddenly they were gone. They served a fantastic half a roast
chicken with a half rack of ribs. for like $7. The motorcycle people
hung out there as there was a full bar in the back. They served great
food. I've no idea why they left but I miss their food and the hefty
bosomed biker chicks.

Yep! Very similar to what I got! With a 9v battery backup to keep the time set, but does not display unplugged. Mine is an Equity, like all the equity I have in my house! All of it as I bought it cash!
