Well, you know what they say. The first step to solve a problem is to
admit that you have the problem. You're on the right track!

With bread like that, anything would taste good. That really looks nice.

Have you ever seen this article?
A list of asian markets in our area with short descriptions.

Same here, Dave. If I needed work, I'd take a low pay job to
fill in while I looked for a better one.

Low pay is better than no pay and sitting at home doing nothing.

Denon was my choice in the 90's.  I couldn't afford Nakamichi back
then.  It looks like they have all devolved into crap.  Good thing the
stock systems are so much better now and, most, aren't designed for
aftermarket head units anyway.

There's no point in having a good system for YouTube music.

Why not?  Insurance isn't just for covering the driver's damages. They
are also there to help you recover damages caused by someone else.

Maybe he saved enough in premiums to cover the expense?

My ancestors also didn't have slaves now that I think about it. I
think I'm going to throw a party.

Who was it who said to a black person: "If it wasn't for slavery,

You just don't get it. My grandparents were brought in to work the fields an do various jobs that didn't suit the white folks. We didn't own any slaves, we were the slaves. At least your family weren't slaves in the US. Well, my guess is that your family was dirt poor when they got off the boat, as was most immigrants and they worked like slaves.

My wife's family did own slaves. Well, at least, one bitch and her kid. The family still owns the bill of sale. Does she feel guilty about it? A little. Should she? Not at all.

As it goes Hawaii never had slaves - unless you call indentured servitude or working for low, low, wages slavery. In modern times it would be called "slavery", back then it was business as usual.

Your lame article (which you did not understand) was about the legal action to get rid of the last vestiges of the Hawaiian Monarchy and start anew. As such, all contracts were deemed null and void in the newly created legal landscape of the United States. The idea that its purpose was to free the slaves of Hawaii is rather startling.

Your best bet is to try to lay your guilt trip on people that at one time had ancestors that owned slaves. My guess is that it'll fall on deaf ears. God knows, it certainly won't work on mine.

That's what makes us different from yoose guys. Most of the locals here are descendants of people that were shipped in to work the fields as cheap, disposable, labor. It is for this reason that social justice/equality is a big deal on this rock. We're not interested in excluding anybody from society - that was your people's goal, not ours.

> It's fairly obvious that you have no idea what the deal was with the Organic act of 1900. Your link was pretty much a fail. Better luck next time - if there is a next time.

You said "your people". Wrong. My people were working hard in Poland
and did not show up here until about 1910. My people had nothing to do
with slavery like YOUR people did.

I bought an anole lizard from a traveling carnival passing through my town
in the Fifties. It lived on the curtains and occasionally changed colors.
The liars at the carnival said it was a chameleon. It died during our
winter or, perhaps, starved or died of thirst.
Once, my mother told our cleaning lady that there was a bullsnake loose in
the house that I seem to have lost. She told Mom that she would come back
when we were snake free. I had other "stuff" go loose too, and often.
My parents were ambivalent to my household menagerie, and that was a good
thing for a lonely, only child. Poisonous animals were forbidden, so I had
to learn what I had beforehand.
Nevertheless, I found a girl to marry me, and it'll be fifty years this
October. Poor thing.

It won't be pretty.  That's a lot of damage and parts - like a new door
skin - might not be easy to get.  If they hit you with a high estimate,
check with your local junkyards for a new door.  Most cars have front or
rear-end damage so you can probably save a lot going that route.
