The idea of chicken sausage (or turkey sausage) has never appealed to me.

UGH! Me, neither. It sounds as appealing as chicken and pork hotdogs or
baloney. B.A.R.F.

I like it cooked that way. Only difference, I'd have a beer, not some
fu-fu seltzer.

First, obtain one slaughtered and dressed-out vegetarian.
Roast over a hot fire until the temperature in the thickest part
of the thigh muscle reaches 180 F or higher.
Defat the pan juices and (if necessary) reduce them to the desired
strength.

You may use carrots, celery, and onion in the usual way to improve
the depth of flavor of the jus.

Slice the meat off the vegetarian and serve with its jus.

Tall glass of ice
Wedge of lime
Double shot of Crystal Palace vodka
Fill with Diet Sprite
Imbibe!
I'm having mine right now and I'm not veggie, vegan, or rabbit...I'm
contemplating slicing into a Boar's Head pepperoni... It's pouring
rain and my plan of mowing went kaput.

Then again this guy may have just been a thief who thought he could get
away with it. Maybe he was hungry and maybe he wasn't. He could have
been stealing that meat to sell for drugs. Even stole the meat to take
to a get-together and appear as the hero who furnished the meat. Some
people steal just to get away with it even if they have money in their
pocket.

Step #5:

Drink all night and into early morning. Turn on oven to bake frozen
biscuits at 8:30AM. Remember that oven doesn't work and go back to
sleep.

Step #5.5

Get woken up by a loud WhooOSH-BOOM! followed by the step ladder
hitting the floor and realize, "Cool! That fucking oven turned on
finally!!" (oops). Go downstairs and finish making pizza from 2
days ago.

Step #6

Shape and put dough on perforated pan. Top with fresh strained
tomatoes (or canned crushed tomatoes), Italian herbs, and Locatelli
Peckerino Romano

Chunks of provolone, shredded WHOLE MILK mozzarella (not part skim)
and few red flying saucer thingies.

Step #96:

Spicy Italian sausage, home made giardiniera, crushed garlic, and
black pepper. Rotate on the big stove burner for two minutes to
give cold 2-day ferment dough a head start.

https://i.postimg.cc/prhmHmb8/Piza-Turn-on-Stove.jpg

Step #71

Transfer to 500F for 12-14 minutes (It should have been 550F but I
didn't want to risk turning the oven off and back on again to change
the temp).

https://i.postimg.cc/wB2ycKQt/Pizza-In-Oven.jpg

Step #69

Allow to cool a few minutes on a rack ABOVE the cutting board so
crust doesn't get soggy.

https://i.postimg.cc/TwPytktt/Pizza-on-Rack.jpg

Step #8

Crack open a Four Loko Seltzer (With a hint of Cherry) somebody
neglected to drink last night and eat pizza.

https://i.postimg.cc/PrvDGRTc/Pizza-Eat.jpg

Soak edges of perforated pizza pan with wet paper towels and look at
your online bank statement to see where in the fuck all you went
last night and inspect ash trays to guesstimate who was here last
night.

Sorry. After a 26 year sentence. Non agg/3G cases in CA do 60% of
their time now due to some new BS law a couple years ago. It used
to be 7/8ths time.

You were (and are) very lucky to have good health. If you'd
had some chronic condition or cancer you probably would have
felt very differently about medical insurance. Even getting
t-boned by a drunk driver could have left you with unforseen
lifelong health issues.

Payments from Medicare were cut considerably when the ACA kicked in. I
see some of them on my statements and in some cases, I don't think they
make money on them. Of course, some will keep you coming for check ups
to keep the billing going so they can survive.

Yes, having no health insurance between age 50 and 65 was a
huge risk. Didn't have any choice though...just more than I
could afford. There was no decision to be made.

I certainly "won" that lottery.

You've been fortunate to go so many years. I could have too in my
younger to middle age. Never had need to see a doctor.

The idea behind the Affordable Care Act was everyone contributed to pay
for those in need. Similar to how all insurance works. Problem is, not
everyone contributed so the real cost was high and with high
deductibles. It was a different club from the rest of us that had
employer paid benefits. Had we ALL been included but may have worked
better but that would never get passed by Congress.

This can hardly be considered "insurance".

It's insurance against having medical bills of $50,000, $100,000, or
more.

Socialism is when the Fire Department puts out your house fire.
Capitalism is when the insurance company refuses to pay up!

So for fathers day we got some amazing steaks and decided to smoke them instead of grilling them. This was one of the few times I had such high quality meat, so I seasoned them with just salt and pepper, and smoked them with mesquite for an hour.

They were absolutely tasty and I would recommend this to any one.

Do you guys have any experience smoking steaks, how do you do it? Which woods, what seasoning?

Also are you guys planning any good BBQs for the 4th of july coming up?

Here is a video of me making them!

You want to cook the curry powder. Otherwise it'll just feel
gritty in your mouth.

I cook chicken with a yogurt coating all the time. It's a little
messy, but not as much as you'd think. For cauliflower, it wouldn't
take that much yogurt to do the job.

If you really don't want to grill the yogurt coating, bloom the curry
powder in a little oil (just a little), then mix it with the yogurt
and use that afterward.
