Some people are stuck with the old stereotypes of Asian manufacturing. Japanese products had a horrible reputation for cheap crap. Most of the toys they flogged has so many sharp edges that they would never be allowed in the market these days. I remember when Japanese cars started appearing in the Canadian market. Honda had some cheap pieces of crap powered by motorcycle engines and chain driven. Datson appeared in the late 60s. They were very cheaply made and constructed of low grade steel. Then there were the cheap Japanese cameras. Within a few decades, they had developed a reputation for high quality cars, motorcycles, cameras and many other consumer products. |

It's added to kim chee to give it a little "added depth." I'll run it through a screen before adding it to the kim chee to break it up. Ain't these yummy looking? You can also buy them skinless if the skin bothers you. They also offer them with sliced jalapeno peppers in the can with the little fishes. https://i.postimg.cc/kGWRKCtd/King-Oscar-Sardines.jpg Boy, your sardines would put me off eating them forever. |

Plumbers don't use copper tubing anymore, they use plastic tubing now. They no longer use solder, plastic tubing is connected with compression fittings, faster, cheaper, and not toxic. |

Are you really going to paint the copper gutters black? Paints don't adhere well to copper... as copper oxidizes paints flake off... also different temperature coefficients... copper expands and contracts more rapidly than paint as temperature changes. |
