Why is everyone saying that I'm 54? My mom is older than me and she wouldn't know. The only beer we ever had in our house was Lucky brand and that was bought only for parties. Pretty sure that was a lager and shelf stable. Any extra went home with whoever wanted it. |

My ex was big into beer and he knew what kind had to be kept refrigerated. I know Bud, Rainer and Hefeweizen can be stored at room temp. QFC had some beer at room temp., but most was refrigerated. I have to watch things with fiber, fat and tough to digest meats, like steak. Gastroparesis is paralysis of the vagus nerve. Mine is not a constant thing. Some people have it so badly. they can't eat at all. They have to be on a feeding tube. My worst time was when I was on the raw, vegan diet. The gastroparesis had not yet been diagnosed. The Dr. told me I could continue on it so long as the gastroparesis wasn't acting up. But... It was. So... The bitch of the thing is that I can feel fine one minute and then I'll just get an odd feeling in my stomach. It's not a pain. I don't get the feeling that I'll throw up. It just doesn't feel normal. And from there, it's all downhill. The main causes of gastroparesis are diabetes and celiac, but I know of two people who have it for other reasons. One is a minor on a feeding tube. The other is a young adult and she often has to be admitted to the hospital for a feeding tube and IV. |

Thing is, I keep my cupboard very well organized but somehow this can got mixed in with the tomato sauce. Maybe it fell and J just randomly stuck it back. He told me he was going to teach me how to be organized. Heh. Yeah, I should have looked but I was having a very busy day and was trying to get dinner out of the way quickly. ==== I am very sorry to hear you are going blind. May I ask if it is cataracts? It's got a great, silky-meaty texture. I'm not sure how to describe it. The easiest place to try a little bit would be a tacqueria in a taco. You'll usually pay 25% more than any other taco filling. They're not cheap and there's a lot of waste once you peel them. Pig tongues at the Asian grocer are usually a little bit cheaper and are very similar in taste texture. -sw -sw |
