There is actually an argument in favor of the child labor. Take away
the few pennies they make and they would starve. Most of those
countries have a lot of political and socio/economic problems.

When I lived in CT it was about 430 kilometers to where we would visit
family in Philly. Would be a PITA if I could not make it. Would not be
too bad for a 15 minute stop.

Next week I'm making a 1900k/1200M trip. I will make at least one stop
plenty long enough to charge but would need more. With present
conditions, I don't want to stop and hang around people any more than I
have to.

In time, I expect it will be faster charges and longer range. If I
still had two car, no problem as one would be an ICE. Most trips in a
month are less than 50 miles.

Most people never think about it as they don't see it.

Back to good old genuine 100% coal fired electricity in da Loo.

Woohoo!

Now, that would cover all his bases. Instead, he seems to prefer
making the *appearence* of being a superior person. Just look at all
the virtue-signalling he does here. He seems to be all show and little
substance.

This isn't the same time as when he drove the car into the side of his
house. I truly don't remember what happened to his electric car this
time around. Seems like it's been the shop for a very long time.

Since these same people (who for the most part have never been to a
3rd world or developing nation) seem to know better, and think their
perceptions are accurate from afar... Perhaps they could put their
money where their mouths are and offer to pay these children to not
work?

I'm glad to hear you've been called back to work. I do wonder how
you're going to supervise all the construction and take care of that

Um... how are you planning to get to/from work? Lemme guess: BabyII?
That gas guzzling van of yours? Heh.

You burn zero gasoline in your Nissan leaf?!? Amazing revelation,

There was that old joke about the farmer who had won $10 million in the
lottery. A reporter asked him what he was going to do with it and he
said " I think I will just keep farming until it is all gone."

Child labor gives that extra edge to a product.

Sometimes you have to make tough decisions. If you don't stamp rioting
out, it only gets progressively worse. NYC is a perfect example, where
that idiot de Blasio told the cops to stand down and let the rioters
do their thing... the (outdated) protocol that's long been proven to
not work. The idea being the rioters will run out of steam and go
home. No common sense at all, much like with the fiasco with nursing
homes in NYC.

You're always putting down everything left-wing and blaming the left

Mind you, I'm not asking or suggesting that you're a neo-nazi or
anything like that.

The Thai dictatorship. I forgot the details. Maybe I remember wrong or
maybe you've changed your mind. This was at least a year ago.

If you have 10000 genuine protestors and 100 scumbags, you'll get a
riot.

Trump's divisive tone is only making things worse. He's coping with
the BLM thing as poorly as with covid. The man's a total failure, like
everybody but the deplorables knew he would be.

LOL, yes those are complete submarines. You can probably get them here
too, but that was not the setup the previous owner had. Those small
gas bottles lasted us a few months because we only used them to cook
with.

Exactly. According to what he's written (quite voluntarily) there was
someone on whatever this board may be (not an actual HOA) who largely
ignored the pink, purple and lavender paint a couple of years ago. Now
that person isn't around anymore and he was pretty much told he has to
change it. He's the one who keeps bring up "occupancy permits". It's
not a giant leap to imagine the two things are somehow linked. It also
makes sense he probably can't rent rooms (for safety reasons) since the
house is essentially a one big construction zone at the moment.

Yes, the University shut down in March because of Covid-19. The
students likely went home to India if they could. There aren't any
students attending classes near his house right now and likely won't be
for the foreseeable future. (Still no reason for him to yell "NONE of
YOUR BUSINESS!". He's made it everyone's business from the get-go.)

It's probably just as well he doesn't have anyone staying there right
now. It's a construction zone.
