Apple pie certainly is popular. Apple is not my favourite pie, but it is
better than no pie at all.

I only eat it as an excuse to have whipped cream.

A moment of silence, please. Sheldon said something that's right.
Let's all pull out our lighters and celebrate this moment.

Old World Roofing is using that copper sheet for flashing around windows and stuff.

These guys know what they are doing!

Actually landscape ties are rather attractive, made from clear lumber,
minimal knots. Real railroad ties are ugly, very rough oak and
heavily coated with wood preservative and tar.

They already do.

That mat is available in different sizes, I think up to six feet
long... perhaps he'd need more than one... the six foot long one is
pretty heavy, I have one on my deck. Cleaning is easy, lift one end
at a time and sweep or hose underneath.

They do indeed. I was stunned when I got the first model iPad a decade ago. The body of the tablet was milled from a single billet of aluminum alloy. I've never owned such a beautifully made thing!

>It's fairly obvious that in the near future, China is going to be putting out products of highest quality. It's no longer going to be cheap. Their labor costs won't support cheap manufacturing. We're at a transition period where you can still get quality products at a remarkable price from China but that's not going to be the case for long.

China's a fascist state and it's becoming more and more fascist.

Yes. dsi1 hasn't been paying attention.

When you see your neighbour beat up his little daughter, you won't say
anything because that would be preaching. Do I understand that
correctly?

The logic button in CK's brain was clearly turned to the off position
some time ago.

I assume you are talking Virginia weather. Around here he expect snow by
November, and November cold always seems to chill to the bone.

I learned from "Joy of Cooking" cookbook.

Old used copies are still usable.
