Uh-uh. People think culdesacs are quiet, but they aren't. A lot of
people and delivery drivers especially, use them to turn around. If
you live just up from a culdesac, you get twice as many UPS, USPS,
FEDEX, Amazon, and trash/recycling trucks than people on thru
streets.

Worse, is that there is no defined direction of travel in a
culdesac - you never know which direction they'll be coming
from/going to. 40% of vehicles travel clockwise through a culdesac
for some reason.

1. It's a cul-de-sac. People aren't bombing through it at 90 mph.
2. It was during the lockdown. Not that many people were driving.

Fresh air? Sunshine? Motivating the kid to do his math problems?

Again, you'd be surprised at the number of commercial delivery
trucks and cars that can 45MPH through a culdesac.

I would be surprised to see that because, around here, courier trucks
tend to drive carefully.

Nice way to pass time. Keep safe. This virus is no joke.

There is evidence on RFC.

We share half of our genome with the banana. That's certainly evident
with some on this group:-)

For someone who claims (falsely) to be super intelligent, and we should
be in awe of your super-brain, you've got the worst grammar here. Your
writing skills are laughable as well. But congratulations!! Another
prize for more run-on sentences; I bet drool was running down the side
of your mouth as you laboriously pecked out the above drivel.

He said his IQ was 120 or something. That's alright, but not super
intelligent.

Not anymore.

And, yes, I was always kind of klutzy about filling ice cube trays.
Water on the floor, water spilled in the frezer.

Not being a luddite like you, I welcomed the icemaker.

Look, you don't use ice. We use as much ice as our icemaker can make,
plus two 7-pound bags that I buy every week. Our freezer would be
half full of ice trays. No, thank you.

Nice. We just write the installation date on the filter when we install
it.

This doesn't have a darn thing to do with water filters. But if I don't
write it on the kitchen calendar when I get a new one to change a/c
filters every three months, they'd never get changed. Pens and markers
still have a use in this day and age.

I saw something yesterday on the bike group I belong about him having
an accident.

Many e-bikes have gears to help control your speed and the pedal assist
also controls speed. You can preach all day, but if you zoom along on
something you don't know how to control and not paying attention, you'll
definitely find yourself in an accident. Many don't take into consideration
the weight of these bikes, either.
