Nobody can have as many friends as you dave. Master druce, however
has actually ejected any friends he may have had.

Same way I see it. There's no reason to be nasty to him all the time.

Hey John, I made a new dish. What I really wanted was a Chorizo dish
but didn't have any and it wasn't worth driving over the snow (only 3
inches but still didn't want to). I made something very like it though.

I'll post the full version soon but that has meat. This is one that
works with no meat.

1 can corn
1 can Veg-All
1 can black beans
2 cans crushed tomatoes
1.5 teaspoons Korean red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon dried minced garlic

Add all together without draining cans, simmer 20 minutes. Onions,
carrots, green beans would not be amiss. Your own hot-sweet beans with
some of the cooking liquid would work. Diced canned tomatoes would be
fine. Regular chili power will work for the Korean red pepper (which
btw is inexpensive and sold in larger bags of 8oz for less than 2$).

I had it over rice.

My full version adds 1lb each ground beef and ground sausage, browned
then let drain a bit with slotted spoon then into the mix.

Might be useful in vegetarian version for you! Makes 8 cups with the
meat, 5 or so without it.

Should work out at 50cents a 1 cup serving if using cans. Less if you
use your own dried beans (can be other types, don't have to be black
ones).

COVID. College went virtual so there aren't any students to rent rooms
to.

I just ignore the problematic ones. John and I mostly chat food.

But their butter pecan ice cream is plain old blah and damn skimpy on
the pecans. Blue Bell brand was recommended to me and it's just as
blah but a decent amount of pecans.

Indeed. It is the kind of thing a trained nurse has been taught. Most
nurses are female. Roughly half of patients are male, so lady nurses
have been hoisting up men for ages. Here we have a male nurse who can't
cope with a 100 pound kid.

Yes, but you're discussing a psychopathic cannabis nurse, not a
normal nurse, who can most certainly care for a 100 lb. patient.

Unless that patient is Popeye ... then they'll need two orderlies
just to lift his enormous dik.

I seem to recall something that I think was called "nfilter", but am
not if that's right. The only other thing I could think of was
hamster. But isn't that primarily a local usenet news server, which
would be overkill for me.

If you've got a lead on something other than nfilter or hamster, I'm
interested.

My son described the chilaquiles he has been having for
breakfast in Puerto Vallarta. I decided to make some this
evening. Those El Milagro brand tortillas from Chicago
make a big difference.

"Global warming" is one of those leftist "canards", Hank...

IMNSHO we should replace ALL forests with parking lots, ALL power should come from
soft brown open - pit coalmines, Olde Mudder Urth should be DRENCHED in DDT, and even
MORE non - biodegradable plastics and other noxious litter should be dumped into the ocean and
ALL remaining wilderness areas... and ALL "rare" animal species should be hunted into
UDDER extinction...

Okay, similar to our cottontails, but not the same species.

Cottontails don't always burrow either. I think they would rather eat
than work hard to dig a hole. I usually find a rabbit nest in one of my
gardens every hear. I have to be careful in one spot of that garden
because they just clear out a space big enough for the babies. There
also used to be a spot under a spruce tree next to my dog kennel. My
previous dog never liked being in the kennel but he loved being tied up
on a rope that was tied to the door frame of the kennel. Several years
in a row he discovered that there was a rabbit nest within reach.

I drink a pretty consistent amount of beer every day, in
the evening. I don't get drunk. My sentence structure is
indistinguishable from my posts at other times of day.
I never touch alcohol any time other than late
afternoon/evening. You realize what a fucking goofball
you look like writing a phrase like, "hits the sauce"??

You're free to think I'm a philistine for drinking beer over
ice, but I like it that way. It *does* have the result of
reducing the alcohol percentage to the point where a
person has been drinking almost every day for the past
40 years of his life pretty much couldn't drink it fast
enough to get "drunk."
