People also ask:

Is flatus and fart the same?

Flatulence, commonly referred to as 'farting', is caused by gas in the bowel.

Ordinarily, the intestines produce between 500 and 2,000mls of gas, which is passed out of the anus at regular intervals.

The gas, or 'flatus', consists of a number of gases including methane, nitrogen and carbon dioxide.

What do the British call a fart?

Colloquially, flatulence may be referred to as "farting", "pumping", "trumping", "blowing off",
"pooting", "passing gas", "breaking wind", "backfiring", or simply (in American English) "gas"
or (British English) "wind".

Derived terms include vaginal flatulence, otherwise known as a queef.

Judith, do you think the docs will put a rubber condom over the swabs for "safe sex" purposes?

I dread getting any "nasties" up there, you know!

You're talking about the "Big Three". Japanese cars did fine. What
vehicle would you rather own?

1 A vehicle produced by a proud union member who is backed by their
union with all the rights and emoluments thereof.
2 A vehicle produced by a Japanese worker who, by doing a poor job, will
bring disgrace upon their ancestors.

For me, the answer is obvious. I bought my last American vehicle in
1998, and I should have known better. My '86 Forerunner was doing fine
when I got bored with it after 27 years. Now I own my last vehicles, a
Toyota and a Subaru.
But that's just me.
