I never did like waffles. Too hard to butter without using too much.

I don't know about used being better than new. It's just that there are
some things that people buy and tire of quickly or they are given as
gifts and not used, so people sell them at garage sales or or give them
to charity stores. Waffle irons and bread making machines are near the
top of the list.

You can make a batch and freeze leftovers and then heat them up later in
the toaster.

That's what my wife likes about them. She usually shuns carbs and sweets
but she loves butter.

Two words: melted butter

Kootchie has already been waiting a full week... from the 14th through
the 22nd... how much do they pay for waiting time?

My old Dutch butcher used to butcher deer and moose for people. I heard
there are a few other places around here that will do it.

Sandwich looks good, would be better on seeded rye & Guldens spicey
brown, a fermented garlic dill pickle and Ballantine Ale, not too
cold. As a young man I'd buy Ballantine Ale in quart bottles. In NY
alcohol was allowed at 18. My Aunt & Uncle owned a small grocery
store in the Catskills, Woodridge, NY. I went back about ten years
ago, the small pristine village became a slum, never got out of my
car.

That looks damned good. I've not done on in a while, maybe I will soon.

I will admit to having an old man bladder. I usually wake up at least
one during the night and learned a long time ago that it is best to get
up and have a pee and then go back to sleep, because I am not going to
get back to sleep unless I do, and the longer I fight it the less likely
I am to get back to sleep. Getting back to sleep after two hours of
sleep isn't a problem, but if I am awakened after my first hour of sleep
I will be awake for hours. It's like waking up recharged after a power nap.

The Terminator movies were all about robotics taking over the world.

Not a scary as it sounds, I saw a video of it. It is just a short round
thing, more like a small drum with a tray on top. It moves to the table
and the diners unload it. Push a button when done and it moves away.

"How will the downwardly mobile react to the prospect of permanent rental
serfdom and, ultimately, total dependence on the state? A recent Edelman
survey reveals that increasing numbers no longer trust institutions or believe
hard work pays off. In a world dominated by a few institutions, today's
precariat of gig and short-contract workers, and those who have dropped
out of the workforce entirely, could become an economically less useful
version of Marx's proletariat: a permanent underclass requiring aggressive,
quasi-military policing...

What is the end game for the oligarchs and their clerical allies? Upward mobility
for the masses is out of the question. The technology journalist Gregory
Ferenstein has interviewed 147 digital company founders. His conclusion:

'An increasingly greater share of economic wealth will be generated by a smaller
slice of very talented or original people. Everyone else will come to subsist on
some combination of part-time entrepreneurial 'gig work' and government aid.'

In Silicon Valley's estimation, the mass of people can look forward to life as
subsidised consumers of Facebook's metaverse or Google's dream of 'immersive computing'.

Drink a liter of Mogan David, pee in a pot, reduce the pee by half,
and cook the beans in that sweet pee.

Another 100% for me. Only one repeat question from the first time, IIRC.

Which questions did you get wrong this time?

Right.

Now you've realised no agency is ever going to employ you as a nurse,
it's time to be more realistic. Work in a shop.

Get yourself an entry job as a shelf stacker, and work your way up to
Check-Out.

Same sale prices often.
