Just when Minnesota is paying $275/hour for traveling nurses. Hop over to Illinois for a fresh license. A portrait of Ben Franklin should grease the way!

He spent his last Franklin on that pre amp repair last week, lol...

Those crazy kids think it's the bee's knees. Most old folks think that it's two great food items that's equal to less than the sum of its parts.
I ordered one of these so I'll be having some fun in the future - unless I'm dead!

Sorry, but I just don't understand that combination. For me, it is
bacon, pea meal or sausage and eggs and waffle, bu definitely not fried
chicken.

I don't understand the combo myself. OTOH, the world belongs to the young people so my understanding of their world ain't really important.

Waffles are so foolproof to make, but Dave was correct when he
wrote that the eggs should be separated, and the whites beaten
and folded in. Also, they are better if you add barley malt, and go
heavy on the vanilla extract.

While there *are* things I like with fried chicken, my favorite
is just more fried chicken. I don't much care for white meat,
the breast and wing drummie. Give me legs, thighs and the
other two sections of the wings.

I ordered my ration in 2 minutes. I'll take 2 to Florida for vacation and scalp one for dinner money.

That sounds like a plan. How much loot do you think you can get for a test kit?
I should probably get some. My wife said the patients at her hospital are testing positive. Some people think that the staff are infecting the patients and some people think the ventilation system is to blame. My guess is that it could be both. Anyway, things are getting hairy down here. This morning, I saw a transformer on a pole explode. I'm not superstitious but that could be a bad sign. Oh wait, I am superstitious. Never mind...
Leonard Blaisdell <leoblaisdell@sbcglobal.net>: Jan 22 12:18AM

I posted about a tenderloin sub-primal that I bought before Christmas.
Since I lack imagination, I generally eat the steaks with green beans
and mashed potatoes.
Several months ago, I made some chicken broth from random chicken pieces
and froze it. Several weeks ago, the only noodle pasta I could buy at my
supermarket was some handmade, expensive stuff.
Mashed potatoes are starch. So are noodles. I thought I'd try something
different. Chicken broth, noodles and dried parsley substituted for
mashed potatoes, and I came up with this. The green beans are still
canned. It was surprisingly good.

I don't know if they do cook faster in the oven but every once in a while, a potato will explode when roasted. Poking them deeply will help keep them from self-destructing. Well, that's what I figure, anyway.

The difference betwixt yoose and mees is that meat is your life. I don't really give a shit about meat or your meaty life. All's I cares about is ukuleles.

When I have fresh tomatoes, I make red onion, tomato and cucumber salad
with a vinaigrette. That's as close as I get to an onion salad, although
I've often sprinkled scallion slices on a lettuce salad.
