Here's my avocado green Fire King mug that I usually drink coffee out of at home. https://postimg.cc/YGc2gyFJ I was using a Home Laughlin hotel-ware mug prior to this, but I dropped it and broke the handle off. |

You seem to be missing the fact that the original discussion was, after divorce (in the US), the wife can draw on her husband's SS, AND IT DOESN'T AFFECT THE AMOUNT THE HUSBAND GETS. The husband gets the same amount of SS either way, but if they were married 10 years, the wife gets something as well, completely independent of the ex-husband's SS check. That is entirely different from Alimony (which I don't agree with, BTW). |

I'm talking about Social Security benefits when a person retires. |

To think that I was complaining about the prices of KFC today... when you account for inflation, the price of that 21 pc chicken bucket was over $50-60 in today's money (depending on early or late 60's)... ouch! I suppose it's always been expensive. My guess, of course, is that the chicken was far better in the 1960's. Either way, I see why so few people ate out in the 60's... those prices are certainly a rare-evening type of deal. Way cheaper to eat at home. |
