ISTR it was around the time I read some of Bryan's novel. I have to

Heh. And something to protect my legs when splitting wood, too. You
just might be making me finally change and get some gloves and
protective gear. It's probably time I started thinking about taking
more care of myself, getting older and not healing as fast. I won't
tell you what I did to my big toe a few months ago, working bare
footed, LOL...

This has been something of an issue for me too. The other thing is
good fitting gloves tend to be not very strong and I destroy a pair of
gloves of that type within a day.

Thanks very much Dave, mangoes are still in season (in northern
Australia at least) so will buy one later this week, also a red onion,
then we are set. Sounds good on chicken too.
