Those fools. They already bought the shoes (and supported the company).
Might as well just use the shoes and don't buy anymore for the protest.

Nobody would know about such a wimpy protest :) You can't really get
together with lots of like minded people and make a statement by NOT
buying any shoes. You'd just be standing there doing nothing.

Grocery stores lean toward McCormick and other top brands. All are very
expensive. Generic brand spices are cheap though.

I use my local health food store. Herbs and spices sold in bulk, just
take as much as you want. It's fresher, organic and about half the price
of say, McCormick.

You would think a health food store would be more expensive. It is but
not with the bulk items - herbs, spices, and grains.

This is my store. Happily, only 1/4 mile away - easy walking distance.

Michael's an excellent example of American ignorance and explains how
Americans were able to vote for the Trump clown. The deplorables are
poorly educated, poorly informed, have never been out of their own
country and are easily influenced. Yet they do have the right to vote.
And there you are: Donald Trump. I can't wait for the next American
election. May I suggest Sylvester Stallone? :)

I'll apply a discount factor to your comment, since their politics align roughly
with yours. If Penzey's were cheap, would you buy from them?

For me, no Chick-Fil-A and no Domino's, even though Tom Monaghan has
stepped away from operating the corporation.

Even if they offered to shovel your snow today...???

It's a *great* snow out there this morning...

Also, Vick's NyQuil (or the generic equivalent) will suppress a
persistent nagging cough that will keep you awake at night.

Here, the swill was Busch. Imagine the sentence,
*I grew up in the land between Franco-American
and Chef Boyardee.*

I grew up Protestant/Agnostic, but my oldest sister
(coincidentally, her name is Janet) married into a
Catholic family. If there was a wedding, I'd try to
get out of going if it was a Protestant one, but at
Catholic wedding receptions the kids were allowed
to drink beer. "Uncles" would see that your cup
was empty or nearly empty, and they'd top it up.

Beer, as bad as that stuff tasted back then, was a
rare treat, but there was one thing about wedding
receptions that shone above all else, the possibility
of slow dancing with girls. *That* was pure
Heaven.

It's a woman's duty to become a loving wife and mother, and maintain a beautiful and welcoming home for hubby and children...

I wouldn't care if it didn't have a keyboard.

Everything has its purpose. I wouldn't want to do CAD on a tablet or phone,
not would I want to use it for the manuscript of my Great American Novel.

My wife used to have garlic coming off her breath and skin - I loved it! Her mom was Korean so she ate a lot of garlic. When she moved out of her parent's place, the smell went away. One time, she had lunch with her mom. She dropped by the office to say hi. I went to the car to see her and said that it smelled like a garlic truck crashed into a kim chee factory in there. She thought that was pretty funny.
