I think there was something wrong with the Dirt Devil. It was a cheap
model, and the woman who owned it probably beat on it. It still works,
so I'll keep using it. You should have seen the house she was living
in. Neighbor told me he had to pester her constantly to cut waist high
grass. Side window had nothing but cardboard and duct tape covering the
broken glass of the last 2 years of her life, while she lived there.
Don't even get me started on the fridge, oven, tobacco juice on the
walls, etc.
 
The Filter Queen grandma had is a small canister model. It's good to
carry out and sweep the car. I have the upright attachment for it also.
It's not terribly loud, and it works like a charm all these years later.

I don't know why David is convinced that they are the same person. Greg
might post a fair amount of forged posts, but it's clear as day that

That is probably because it was a bit out of character for me. I did
snip at Steve, but he deserved it. I saw that Jill post, and there was
no sense in arguing over it, so I read it and moved on.
 
I'm over it; no sense in continuing to dwell over annoyances. I've
ignored a number of quoted nasty Janet UK posts, and others; including
several Bryan threw my way recently. It's just a waste of time and
stress... easier to let it go.

I don't know about that. I've spent in the upwards of 20 minutes just
skimming through spam posts. It takes seconds to add an address/name to
a KF, and block a number of future SPAM posts. Sorry, I've got to lean
into Jill's side here. I sure wouldn't want to have to click off all of
those messages each time I check in.

20 minutes worth of spam posts? When I download say 60 posts after I
get up, maybe 2 of them are from spammers.

No, I'm talking about from a full shut-down. It's well under 30 seconds
from sleep mode. Solid state drives are extremely fast booting,
compared to HDD models.
 
I maybe have been exaggerating slightly on 30 seconds, but it's well
under a minute start-up to desktop from full shut-down. 45 seconds, tops.

I thought you said that weed was "icky". It doesn't bother me when
people smoke it, but I just don't get it. Like any
drug/alcohol/whatever, what's the appeal to dependency and/or loss of
control, impaired judgment, etc.?
 
My neighbor's a nice guy, and we help each other out from time to time,
moving furniture, etc... but most of what he does all day is get high.
I guess, whatever floats your boat. I asked him for a ride to go pick
up a truck yesterday, and offered gas money, but he said that he was "so
high, that he couldn't even figure out how to open the bag of M&M's",
and he gave up on it... so he figured that probably shouldn't drive. Lol.
