I'd describe Jill as about at the 10 year - old level, and a very fucked - up 10 year - old at that... -- GM |

Wait, I think that Jill is only 62 or 63. > She and Kuthe might make a nifty pair, lol... they have a *lot* in common... Kuthe does like 12 year olds, and while I don't know that he likes beating up women, he does like fucking them hard in the ass. --Bryan |

"itsjoannotjoann@webtv.net" <itsjoannotjoann@webtv.net>: Sep 27 03:33PM -0700 Are you cooking at home tonight or heading to a favorite restaurant? Here it is going to be macaroni, beef, and tomatoes for a quick supper. Cornbread would have been nice but I'm almost through cooking and it's too late to be thinking about cornbread now! Macaroni needs to go on Friday's shopping list. |

They can be avoided with proper hand sanitization. You can only control that in your home. You cannot guarantee it in restaurants. There are signs in restaurant restrooms saying "please wash your hands" but you have no way of knowing if anyone is actually doing so. Jill |

I have never been able to get over seeing those signs in American restaurant washrooms. It just left me with such a dim opinion of American restaurant workers that they would have to be told to wash their hands after using the toilet. If someone is too dense to know that, there is no guarantee that seeing a sign will mean they will do it. |

I believe the store was an Albertson's, which didn't last long in that area before being bought out, IIRC, by Schnuck's. I needed 6 oz. of ground pork to make Thai steamed dumplings. All the store had were cryo-vac'd one pound packages of ground pork. The butcher behind the meat counter asked what I was looking for. When I told him he sort of growled "Management will only let me grind beef. I've been a butcher for over 30 years, I know to clean the grinder between different yptes of meat!" He cleaned the grinder and ground some pork chops in the amount I needed. Weighed it, wrapped it up, slapped a label on that said "meat" so he wouldn't get in trouble for grinding pork. I do not think he was wearing gloves but I did see him wash his hands. The steamed dumplings, which call for ground pork, crab & shrimp, were delicious. :) Jill |

I recently saw an old Gary Larson 'The Far Side' cartoon depicting a customer in a restaurant as he was walking out of the public restroom. Lights and bells went off and the caption read "Did not wash hands!" Jill |

My guess is that it's better than nothing - but I may be wrong about that. |
