Hitting that enter key at the end of lines was a tough habit to break for a lot of people. That no longer seems to be a problem - all it took was a decade or so for people to understand the concept of word wrapping. :) It's a pity your useragent (G2?) doesn't word wrap. -- The barbarous custom of having men beaten who are suspected of having important secrets to reveal must be abolished. - Napoléon Bonaparte |

Yes these are the type converters I was talking about ... I guess the circuitry is in that little box in the middle of the cable. Triplite's web page says it only draws 18 ma, so the rest of the usb power is available to the keyboard and mouse. I need to get one of these to keep on hand for emergencies. |

Do you know if these work OK if I only plug in one ps/2 device? e.g. Using a ps/2 keyboard, with no mouse plugged in? I assume it would, but thought I'd ask to be sure. |

Moose would be quite surprised to know what they have to say and it's nothing flattering about Hitler, they knew bombings and starvation. I don't understand Mooses attitude, I have nothing against my German friends, nothing was their fault, anymore than mine. |

My life long friend was born in Germany. His family was my second family. Part of my family roots are German. He had ancestors who were in the Waffen SS and he says I don't know about them, but I have read enough to know that, while other branches of the German armed forces were apolitical, the Waffen SS were Nazis. He keeps saying that I heard too many lies from my father, but he has been listening to his Nazi relatives. |

The result was fine in both cases. Oh yeah, forgot to mention; If yoose use salt in the soaking water, less salt is needed later, either before or after the beans are cooked. The salted water is discarded and the beans rinsed, but salt does get inside the beans as they soak, so don't add as much salt till you taste them. It's very hard to fix oversalted food. |

It's very hard to fix oversalted food. I think I've always added the salt after the soaking stage. But, yeah, it's better to be careful. You can add more but you can't take it out. |
