One hour afterwards the boss, Matt Hancock, of the man who said that made
him withdraw the statement. That pretty much confirms it was accurate.

I doubt Matt Hancock will now appear before the same Parliamentary
committee and answer questions about why he forced a withdrawal and
demanded a statement be issued backing up his alternative point of view.

I was able to get a little fresh meat today, but mostly more frozen/prepared
food.

I normally keep a good stock but we've been on lockdown longer than most.
We're only allowed one trip to the store every two weeks and things are
being rationed. I did get paper towels today but there was a limit of one
package. So 6 rolls as that was the only kind they had.

Right! And people were hoarding them which is why they are sold out. I did
get black eyed peas, lima beans and two bags of brown rice. Not much else
available along those lines.

How do they know? Are they issuing "grocery store trip" rationing cards?

The Covid-19 is a smart cookie however, this Chinese is smarter that every other human on earth. It's hard to imagine that such a creature even exists. We should all strive to go about our tasks with such determination and sense of purpose. Now I shall set off to go make some meat pies. They will be very good pies. Not as good as hers though...

Meat eaters always want to preach to non meat eaters. Even though it
makes much more sense when non meat eaters preach to the barbaric,
ruthless meat eaters.

WTF!
I'm pleased with you and your protege's non meat stance. Hell, I
even encouraged kuth to go vegan. You too Hruce!

Must be the artificial flavoring.

turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, artificial flavoring."

He got fired already. He was "wobbly" when he showed up to work.

You're such a slut to your roommates customs. You're losing touch
with them (they're distancing themselves from you) so becoming a
vegetarian is your way of getting back into the "family" to get more
attention.

Have some boloney, you phoney. Oh, and Namaste!

ObFood: Braunschweiger and mister mustard on crackers as my midnight
snack. I love the burn of mister mustard.

Really. I mod (I prefer 'admin') a 50K member meat-oriented group
on reddit and the hardcore vegans are always attacking 'us'. While
the veggie groups get a mere pittance of it, usually just from the
adolescent high school trolls.

I've never known an employer to do physicals during "orientation".
Even a nursing agency would sub that stuff out off-site for
liability and oversight issues. They wouldn't do your own physicals.

So yeah, that was 100% lie. I bet he failed the drug test. I HAVE
had those taken on site by a temp agency.

My zip code has the highest rate of infection in the city and it's a
pretty sparse/small zip code. I think the two nursing homes set it
off. Of the 25 deaths in the city, 14 of them have been nursing
home inhabitants and 2 were staff. Which leaves 9 non-nursing home
deaths.

One of the "benefits" (for the employer) is Employment at Will :-)

They got rules about that if she's a patient of yours. If she's a tenant, I suppose it'll be okay. Of course, you're gonna have to offer a discount on the rent. My suggestion is that you get an agreement on that first before allowing a tenant access to your hamster or if your hamster wants to spend some fun time on her hamster wheel.

Nope, he's gone quite a bit lower than that, in the past.
