It was a steak - a pretty tough steak. That's life - sometimes you get a great steak and sometimes it's tough.

I call it the "Popeye effect". A weird result of navy thermodynamics.

You should see our neighborhood second-hand smoke. Kilauea erupted back in 1983 and didn't stop until 2018. Hawaii had to put up with vog from that smoker for 35 years. It stopped a couple of years ago which was a great relief. Now it started up again. I was hoping that it would be dormant for a little while longer - say 500 years.

Have you discussed the issue with Pele?

Heck no! Humans cannot discuss "things" with the spirits. We have to be happy with whatever the gods and spirits decide to do with us.

What? Pele's a football (played with the feet and with a ball) player
and he's still alive.

You might have a son too if you could get it up for anybody other
than a man in drag.

I use my watch as a timer. I bring it up toward my face and say "set a
timer for x minutes and y seconds". The watch says "ok, I set a timer for
x minutes and y seconds". After x minutes and y seconds, the watch lightly
squeezes my wristband which squeezes my wrist and the watch dings faintly.
Then, it´s up to me. I sometimes say x hours, y minutes and z seconds.
I´ve never tried setting multiple timers on it. I´m a one-at-a-time kind
of guy.

I got a smart phone and you got a smart watch. Smart is a good thing. I wish that timers would play a little ditty while you're waiting to make the time go faster. Here's my favorite song to make ramen. I think it's called "3 min."

More background noise than anything else probably.  I've never seen her
standing there watching it.  It does have an app that can play radio
stations from around the world.  It's odd how Canadians pronounce
Mazda.  It's like MAZEDUH.

No. I asked about the cuisine. Ugali is the most widely eaten dish. It is
served with some kind of cooked greens or a salad that's very similar to
Pico De Gallo. I have ordered the corn flour for the Ugali.

Beyond that, I am still looking into it. Seems that beans and rice are
common, but I need the correct seasonings. I am on a website now that
mentions eggs and potatoes.

If you have anything Germaine to this cuisine, I'd appreciate it.

No. He already had food. And since he asked about adding heat, I knew not to
offer my bland meal.

I've never been on Tinder. I know nothing about it. Nigerians are famous for
scamming. He has lived here for 20 years and works three jobs. As for the

Thanks! I just got a can of coconut milk. Most of the sauce and seasoning
that arrived today are of the Asian or Indian type. From my research, Indian
cuisine is common there. I found an egg and potato dish that is common there
but I need to find the seasonings. No clue what dhania leaves are.

I have no clue what cream costs here. I bought some in NY to make ice cream.
The only milk I ever have is the powdered kind. It's non-fat. Lemons are
expensive here. They were cheap in NY. I don't know grams. Just far easier
for me to buy it because I'd have to order the ingredients to make it.

  1. The website is looking bit flashy and it catches the visitors eyes. Design is pretty simple and a good user friendly interface.
