But if you have a PM, you also have a king or queen. In some rare cases even the king or queen of another country on the other side of the world. -- Bruce |

True, but in reality kings and queens wield little real power and influence in the day to day running (of western nations at least). The queen had an implied *indirect* affect on Australia back in 1975 through her Governor General, who dismissed our Prime Minister, but in reality it was pressure/interference from the U.S that instigated that event and the queen and GG just complied as per their request. |

It's weird. A country's a democracy but their head of state isn't elected, but gets the title from their parent. That's very undemocratic, but they make up for that -not by abolishing the circus- but by giving them little power. Fuzzy logic :) -- Bruce |

I have no problems with anyone being gay, but I have no time for these types who put on the 'gay' histrionics like this guy. Do any of these types ever become plumbers, electricians, builders, mechanics or anything else that is a legitimate asset to society? Rarely... very rarely. Their only talent is to accentuate and exploit their 'gayness' in modern society. |

Not to mention bird poop... birds love clothes lines... first time a murder of crows poops your freshly laundered clothes you'll never hang clothes outdoors again. Another thing is dryers suck all that pesky lint off your laundry. There's really no point in doing laundry if you hang it outdoors, could easily end up dirtier than before you laundered it. The only times I hang laundry are items that say not to machine dry; knits, certain wicking and sports gear fabrics, woolens, ladies delicates, but then they are hung on a line indoors... I hang bras in my office where I can keep an eye on them and feel them to know when they are dry... did yoose know that there are special bra hangers: http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=bra+hangers&tag=mh0b-20&index=aps&hvadid=7005461217&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&ref=pd_sl_937vj1783v_e |
