It must be pretty good because they are two dogs at the dog park who seem to like to recycle it. One Lab gets excited as soon as we show up and she follows Sonny around and starts liking his ass as soon as he lifted his tail. Then one German Shepherd developed a taste for second hand salmon dog food. They don't get as excited about the crap from the other dogs. |

Dave, just because these stories turn you on, doesn't mean other people appreciate them. |

As she got older, she had a tough time adjusting after we'd move to another state. The water was different and sometimes the food wasn't the same as what I had bought before. Same brand but perhaps different flavor. I would give her boiled chicken and rice, mashed potatoes and bottled water for a couple of weeks, slowly adding in tap water and cat food in small amounts. === I have cooked for my dogs from time to time too when they needed it. It is what a loving owner would do. |

Capitol gains tax and capitol goods? What the hell are those? I I can see you are not very good at this or you do not have a good education or you are not at all familiar with the government or you are not from the USA. Long-term capital gains tax is a tax applied to assets held for more than a year. The long-term capital gains tax rates are 0%, 15% and 20%, and they're typically much lower than the ordinary income tax rate. A capital good is a durable good that is used in the production of goods or services. Capital goods are one of the three types of producer goods, the other two being land and labor Google is your friend...use the google, respect the google -- ____/~~~sine qua non~~~\____ |

I inherited it: (1) you smoosh a clove just a little and peel the fine skin off. (2) trim off the hard end if you want to (optional) (3) put garlic in the press and squeeze the handle to flattish (4) use the edge of a butterknife to scrape the flat face of the press (5) make sure the scrapings fall into where you want them (6) scrape the inside of the press and add that into the mix (7) add another skinned clove of garlic to the press (8) repeat steps (1) through (7) until satisfied (9) rinse the press using the knife edge to scrape bits and pieces off (10) run hot water through the press until all the holes are clear (11) store the press away Damn! that seems like a lot of work, stepwise. leo |

How do you mince the stuff! against my better judgement... the end of the clove where you pulled it off from the head, slice that off, just a bit, don't be wasteful! then slice through the clove lengthwise, whichever way makes more or less symmetrical halves place a half clove sliced-end down - if the skin hadn't come off from the first two steps, when you now crush it (please - do not pound, this isn't meat) the skin should come off easily then mince away |

If I'm doing a lot, I use Martha Stewart's method to remove the skins. Put in a metal bowl. Top with a metal bowl of the same size and shake. You have to hold the bowls close together. |

I envisioned him in a situation as my bipolar cousin. I was her mother's PoA and my brother was the executor of her will. We tried to talk her into letting us set up a trust account that we would administer and buy things on her behalf. It would have allowed her to maintain her disability pension and welfare. Nope... she wanted the money right away. She went out and bought a car a non winterized cottage near North Bay. That meant an out of shape overweight and mentally unstable woman having to cut and haul wood. She lost her pension and welfare and within and ended up losing the house. She had a hell of a fight to get her benefits back. |
