It is so funny when people see a recipe that says gluten free they act
like it will be disgusting or perhaps more difficult to make. When in
reality if that person would think for half a second and realize hey I
can use my regular syrup instead of gluten free or perhaps something
like regular pancake mix instead of gluten free. It amazes me on just
how prejudiced people are about everything that they <think> they may
not like or dont understand...

If a recipe says gluten free and you have no gluten free ingredients
just ignore the words gluten free.... It really is not that hard..

What's a "capitol letter"? The "a" and "o" are at opposite ends of the
keyboard, so it can't be down to miskeying.

I guess trolls don't need to be literate to be effective.

Order them directly from Hampton Farms... I don't think $3.50/lb is
expensive for peanuts... how much do you pay for a pound jar of
national brand peanut butter and it's not pure peanuts.
I don't see their Valencia peanuts in the stores here either, only
various sized bags of Virginia peanuts.

You said "Dave" and "excellent post" in one sentence. Huh huh.

That doesn't necessarily mean you're a super taster. You just need
more practice!

a super taster just simply means a person has more taste buds/nerve
endings per cm^3 than the average person... so lets say I have twice
as many taste buds on my tongue than bob. bob tastes some hot sauce
and says DAMN that is spicy... I taste the same hot sauce and it will
be 2x as hot for me and I will most likely scream my head off for 10
minutes

Bryan was a Super taster too! Once in a community garden he used in his neighborhood and we were standing well away from a small grove of basil plants which Bryan detests and I could not even smell them! Bryan was offended by the smell of the basil plants that I did not smell until I walked over to one and pulled a leaf up to my nose and sniffed and I was like "Yeah, basil!"

It just means you need more practice. It's not as if Thai or
Indonesian people, for instance, collectively have less taste
buds/nerve ending than white people. They've just had a lot more
practice eating hot food.

taster and smeller are different. Sometimes a person with hearing
problems have a keener nose. Did your friend have a hearing
difficulties?..

Super tasters really just cant handle spicy foods. that is the main
difference.

I am sure there are some Thai people that are super tasters that can
not handle food as spicy as the next guy can....

It has nothing to do with practice.. Eating spicy foods does not
decrease sensitivity or deaden your tongue to spice... I mean it can
for a few minutes but nothing permanent. I can eat the same super
spicy dish 3 times a week for 50 years and it will be just as spicy
every time for those 50 years

No, you do get used to it. I have gotten used to it to a degree. Thai
and Indonesian people have gotten used to it to a higher degree than
me. They can eat and enjoy what no average westerner can. And that's
not because they have no taste buds.

I'm not saying you're not a super taster, though. I just read that 25%
of people are super tasters, so there will be quite a few in RFC.

That's not a super taster.

There are plenty of commercial pet foods to take care of any digestion problems
or picky eating an animal might have. When that animal starts paying utility
bills, car payments, car insurance, and property taxes then I'll consider
cooking for them.

I don't cook specifically for the cats but they are always welcome to
share in whatever I cook so long as it's appropriate for them... and
occasionally for medical reasons I will prepare special foods for
them. I don't see any problem, if I cook pork chops and a couple of
cats want some they are welcome to a share... only two cats like
people food anyway... it's mostly rotisserie chicken that they can't
resist but that's only maybe twice a year. Money doesn't enter into
it, besides cat food costs more than rotisserie chicken

I never established a email rapport with whoever the sender was. And I'd make a whole batch of Chocolate Covered Cherries if I received an order for them, especially locally to STL, I'd even deliver them in person! In my 100% electric Nissan Leaf so I would not even burn gasoline to do it!

Ahh ok that is a bladed grinder vs. I guess you other is a burr
grinder. I have a bladed grinder. They are pretty much the same except
a burr grinder has a much higher chance of heating up and burning the
coffee.

I'm not going to click through 26 times, but I posted this yesterday

virgin bloody Cesar with pickled asparagus.

I bet that wasn't in there.
