He may not have. I think a lot of people glance at the stuff you post,
spot it for the bullshit it often is and ignore the details. As he said,
there is not a single documented case of a fatal marijuana overdose, but
then you cousin smoked pot, ended up in the hospital and died. You tried
to deflect criticism by saying you don't know what exactly happened, but
you did make the connection. My wife's aunt tried pot when she was in
her 50s. She died 40 years later..... obviously a connection there
wouldn't you say.

If by that you mean your comment " I am not saying that the pot in and
of itself caused his death", then yes I did.

I also read your "I couldn't tell you what happened" and "only got
second hand information" disclaimers... but if you personally don't
feel it had SOME relevance to your cousin's death, then I'm unsure
what the point of your post was?

i had to stop using cannabis. my heart started to pound scary like after consumption. never did have to go to emergency though. i tried growing different strains that would not cause me scary anxiety. never found one yet. never tried blueberry though. it's advertised as an anti anxiety strain. i'v also heard that it's just weak pot.

All my cats drank fine from a water bowl. I think the main thing
is to keep it cold and fresh. Same with ferrets in the later
years.

I always had a Britta water-filtered container in my fridge.
Funny as I rarely drank that nice filtered water. I was fine with
city water right from the tap except in mid summer when that tap
water was just a bit too warm. One ice cube in a 20oz water glass
was fine. I don't like super cold ice water but just one cube
works well for me.

Anyway, my pets always got the filtered and cold water. Not just
once a day..cats and ferrets liked it cold and very fresh. Put
down a water dish once a day and it will be ignored after several
hours. No big deal to me to give them fresh 2-3 times a day.

What a great cat pic. I love that.

On a totally unrelated note, have you ever watched the
movie, 'Lucy' ... Scarlett Johansson in Lucy (2014)

If not, give it a watch. I really liked that. Kind of a Twilight
Zone movie.

That's true John but you should quit posting crazy stuff if you
are kidding. As you said, you don't have a criminal record but
you better believe you now have an arrest record.

Any time I speak anti-liberal here, I get the same thing.
"Oh, you must love Trump"
"Oh, that's because you only listen to FoxNews"
Mostly they just resort to name calling.

I'm always willing to nicely debate anything I say here.
My thinking is NOT the final word.
With a civil debate, I've sometimes been convinced
to look beyond my own little world. I will yield
when that happens.

Speaking of that, you two *very southern* boys (that talk weird)
have convinced me that maybe cats do need extra water sometimes.
Probably many humans do too. (Dsi1 would say, "Whites don't
drink enough water!")

Anyway, I always gave my cats meaty food morning and night. And
the ferrets ate the "warm gravy meals" which were mostly water.

That phobia thing is ridiculous. Phobia is an irrational fear. It is a
cheap attempt to make someone's attitude about people a disease. Not
liking something about a person is a reaction to something about them
that may be the result of the way they act, or it can be a prejudiced
view based on stereotypes. It is not a phobia.

A whatever-phobe fears the "whatever". Nothing about clinical diagnosis
of phobias. Simply the Greek word for "fear". The opposite of -phile.

Hydrophobia isn't a fear of water. It's a rabies infection.

Exactly! We are born with two basic fears: falling and loud noises. Most all the rest are learned! And if we LEARN a fear we can UNLEARN IT!!

In the book "1984" the main character had a terrible LEARNED PHOBIA of rats, which Big Brother USED AGAINST HIM in the end! After reading that I decided I would RID MYSELF of all my irrational phobias! Which I pretty much have!

Do you not pay attention to *all* he says?
He is very racist and biased and constantly talks
about what others think as a group rather than
others as individuals. That's about as bad as one
can get, imo.

People like him that segregate others into groups
are the whole problem with our world. Religion vs
religion. Male vs female. Black vs white. Asians
vs all others.

Remember when he spouted that "white people" think
all Asians look the same? lol

The fellow has serious racist issues and I'm tired
of being grouped into his "white people think..." nonsense.
Until the Dsi1's all die out, the world will always have
racist problems and even wars. I doubt that will ever
happen but one can hope.

Nicely said, Bruce. I still call that racist though. Until people
quit thinking that way, the world will always have problems and
even wars.

Lots of racism here in Virginia, an old slave state. I was
horrified how locals think when I first moved here in 1972.

shouldn't have called it a lid but I did say "front lid." Door is
what I meant. Oh well

I saw a documentary once where some company in the SF Bay Area
was making and selling cookies made with powdered crickets rather
than flour. People that tried them said they were good. huh huh -
hippies. ;)

I guess PETA doesn't care much about crickets. :)

If any here remember, potatoes used to come in a paper bag with a
mesh window so you could see what you were buying. They also were
not washed - still had a layer of dirt. That's how home grown
potatoes should be stored...cool place, dark and unwashed. They
lasted much longer.

Today potatoes come in smaller quantites. They are washed and put
in plastic bags with holes to breathe but they don't breathe as
easy like in the old paper bags.

True. Slice off just a bit of the root end and put in a glass of
water for a bit, then dry and store it. Same as buying a
Christmas tree from a lot - cut off the bottom end an inch or two
and set in a stand with water. I think even sugar water is
recommended. Keeps them fresh a bit longer.
