No, I think that's true enough, Lucretia.

To me, *most* abortions are due to an accident. Accidentally
getting pregnant from a night of fun.

That said, I am very pro-abortion. No unwanted pregnancy should
be forced to continue for any reason. We have too many people
already and don't need unwanted children being born.

I have a few relatives living in the USA "bible belt" and they
are all dancing with glee and praising Jesus for this current
movement. I'm appalled.

It's all religious reasons and religion has caused most of our
biggest problems in history. This current trend is so wrong. Also
for this crap, I've always believed that churches should be taxed
just like every one else is since they meddle in politics.

This will be the "final nail in the coffin" for republicans
though in 2020. They went wrong when they hooked up with the
religious right. This current trend will almost guarantee a
Democrat sweep in the next election.

My early guess.....Joe Biden

I understand how your system works towards the end. However if you
look at elections anywhere, it is harder for the good to succeed if
too many people run, the electorate does not necessarily shift to the
one left.

often do that. You complain and you whine and then you do it yourself
:)

And did I expect you to understand what's wrong with McDonalds? No, I
didn't, based on everything else you don't understand. Paint fumes are

We had Burger Chef in Philly. It was 1960ish and they were 15 cents,
cheeseburgers 18 cents.

I'm pro-life myself but the truth is that I don't really have a horse in this race or a dog in this fight or a womb in my belly. As it goes, males have never had a vested interest in this race/fight/belly. They only believe that they do.

Some men are in favor of abortion because it get them out of paying
child support.

Did you sample everything, or did you have something specific?

McDonalds isn't terrible. You've just conditioned yourself to think
it's terrible.

I will say that McDonalds burgers taste the least like hamburgers,
whether it be from your stove, the 7-11 microwave, your neighbors
grill, or any other restaurant.

I thought that, but they seem real after a little research.
They are published in a few places though.
https://abort73.com/abortion_facts/states/florida/
Total Abortions (2018): 70,083
The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration reports that 70,083
abortions took place in Florida during 2018. This number includes
abortions performed on out-of-state residents but does not include
abortions performed on Florida residents in other states.

https://lozierinstitute.org/abortion-reporting-florida-2018/
In 2018, there were 70,190 abortions reported in Florida1 (Fig. 1).
After declining for more than a decade, abortions increased by not quite
two percent between 2017 and 2018. Still, abortions in Florida are 27
percent lower than the 95,586 reported in 2006, the highest total on
record in Florida. As in other states, chemical abortions are on the
rise: chemical abortions increased by 12 percent from 27,703 in 2017 to
30,922 in 2018.

Really? You actually felt a need to question my credibility on that?
She was the one who offered the information. Maybe she was lying. As it
turned out, she was bi polar and made my friend's life hell. She had
three kids when he met her and they had a daughter together. The kids
turned out well, no thanks to her. FWIW, my friend died last year and I
flew out for the celebration of life that the kids, now in their 30s,
put on in his honour. They were all very close to my friend but pretty
much estranged from their mother.

Yeah, like we didn't know that was coming. heheh

Last time I bought a McD's breakfast, it was one plain sausage
biscuit and 2 hash browns. Probably not healthy but pretty tasty
and cheap. Since I so rarely buy, I don't concern myself with the
healthy aspect. It's just an occasional taste-bud treat. McD
won't be my cause of death someday.

The planet won't die because of McD's either. ;)

I wouldn't dirty a pan for a miniscule 5 oz piece of meat, in fact
I've not seen a 5 oz steaks displayed, even the typical pork chop is
over 8 ounces but typically ssold in pairs or more, I usually buy
thick cut loin pork chops, about 1 pound each, however there's a bone
and fat to discard. I'd typically cook a 2 1/2 pound London broil and
we'd get two meals plus some for the cats. One pan to clean and we
like cold London broil, thinly sliced makes great sandwiches. I
prefer top round for London broil, it's lean and well marinated it's
very flavorful. Just don't cook past medium and it's very succulent,
we like it more than expensive fatty steak.... top round is more
flavorful than ribeye... but then chuck is more flavorful than ribeye.
Beef rib is really for people who neglect their teeth and are
afflicted with chronic TIAD... rib is tender but is the least
flavorful beef cut. For grilling my steak of choice is a 1 1/2" thk 7
bone chuck steak. It annoys me that chuck steak used to be the least
expensive cut, nowadays it's priced like filet mignon.. another steak
for those with bad teeth and chronic TIAD.

Same here. I don't add water or milk to scrambled eggs. Might
give the water a try to see how fluffy eggs taste though.

When I make fried eggs (over easy), I cook 2-3.
When I make scrambled eggs, I cook 4.

The first 3 I eat plain with toast.
The last egg (1/4 of the dish) I mix with ketchup.
It's the dessert part of my scrambled egg meal.

It's all good here. Each to their own, eh?

I've had leftover steak (ribeye or strip) for breakfast which was also
perfectly cooked medium rare the night before. Heat it up in a small
cast iron skillet on low heat until heated through. I've never added
steak *to* scrambled eggs and am not really interested. Bacon is a
whole different story. :)

As long as you both liked it, it works. I'd just prefer to have the
steak on the side. :)

I figured I had nothing to lose by trying it, and it turned out to be
good. I had had steak and egg breakfasts in a number of restaurants and
had suggested it to my wife. She rejected the idea and said steak and
eggs are not a good combination. Last summer we had breakfast in a local
restaurant. I ordered the eggs Florentine and convinced her to try steak
and eggs. She was impressed.

I always used to make them with milk because that was he way I had
learned. I later learned to use water, and I prefer the way they turn out.

I was not diluting butter with Crisco. I needed 1 cup of Crisco and
there was only 3/c cup in the block, so I topped it up with butter.
Besides, I didn't have butter flavoured Crisco.

Why don't you create a new religion or cult, John? You can be it's
