In the Netherlands, it's around USD 11.25 per hour for people over 20.

You see minimum wage as an official permission to pay employees
peanuts. I see it as a guarantee that employees get paid some kind of
decent minimum. It stops employees from totally underpaying their
employees.

Whether your perspective or mine applies probably depends on how low
the minimum wage is.

Yup, Henry Ford knew that, that's why he raised the wages of his auto workers to an unprecedented $5.00 per day in 1914...

People who can't pass a piss test have to take what they can get.

The original intent of the minimum wage was to ensure that employers
not _totally_ underpay their employees. They're still free to
partially underpay them.

Generally speaking, employers pay the minimum they need in order to
get the employees they require. If the job is, say, picking up trash
in the parking lot, it would be foolish to pay more than the minimum
wage, unless nobody wanted the job at that wage. Then, of course,
the employer would have to offer more.

Do you think anyone here at RFC has this ability? You have many times
expressed your opinion on these matters and no one cares. lol

It doesn't matter whether you want to hear it. What matters is that I
want to say it.

Oh, I almost forgot: lol.

What's the difference between a circus and a whore house?

Almost. Compound adjectives are hyphenated when they precede the noun
they modify:

He is mule headed.
That is one mule-headed man.

Pasta salad is pretty much a staple on this rock. The Hawaiian plate lunch will include two scoops of rice and one scoop of mac salad. Like most Hawaiian food, simplicity is the key. My secret ingredient: MSG - but don't tell nobody.

Oh, so you get to exclude the murders that you don't want to so your
argument appears more palatable?

Sorry, but that's not how statistics work.
