I doubt he needs cages where he lives, if there are no deer around
cages are just a pain to keep rearanging the plants, and make
harvesting more difficult... typically the tomatoes grow too large to
grab and pull your hand and tomato through the cage openings. We have
lots of deer here so our garden is totally fenced, for the tomatoes we
use what are known as grape stakes, a wooden stake that supports the
plant, tied loosely to the stake with strips of cloth. Not expensive
and lasts for maybe 30 years... good for staking all kinds of
plants... perhaps today $5 each, we paid $2 fifteen years ago. They
also have many other uses, we use one in the track to secure our
sliding patio door. They are far easier to store than cages. They
also don't bend out of shape and collapse under the weight of
tomatoes. We got rid of our cages years ago. On a hot sunny day the
metal cages get burning hot and will damage your plants.

I saved them from year to year, so they are reusable. I spread the 3 "legs" of each out and drove them into the Gardenbed 6 or so inches around each of my tomato "staking" them into the dirt, so I do not think they are going anywhere!

And they are Pinkish/Purple and function very well, so well worth the money!

Um, derelict is a euphemism for a horny homeless guy.

Popsicles is the '40s '50s term for motorcycles.

It makes no sense. This guy eats all her food and she complains about
it on RFC but she won't tell *him* "please don't eat my food without
asking".

This is a situation of your own creation. You invited this guy to live
with you, don't expect him to pay for anything and then seems surprised
when he eats all your food. Learn to set some boundaries, otherwise (as
my mother would have said) "Don't come cryin' to me".

I almost picked up a package of those the other day. Except the only
ones the (yes, Family Dollar) store had were the pizza ones. The ham &
cheese ones used to be pretty good for a quick lunch. :)

Time for a lock on the fridge and the pantry.

It doesn't make sense to most people. I may be wrong but I get the
impression he doesn't live in the back house/shed anymore. She
complained about his girlfriend not liking her, the girlfriend he
invited into HER house. He contributes next to nothing. How much
gardening can there possibly be? He eats her food, steals things out of
her garage, breaks the glass in her oven door... Is she *that* afraid
of living alone?

He should at least provide goat milk if he has a nanny goat. Or some
nice goat meat (cabrito) for dinner. j/k, she'd never eat goat.

It doesn't matter who Dori Monson is but for your edification, Doris,
he's a liberal radio personality who is spouting off a lot of bullshit.

The governor never said people over 65 can't leave the house to buy
essential items (food). The governor may be urging them not to if they
can send someone else to the store, sure. There is no mandate in
Bothell that says people of any age are not allowed to shop for food.

She's been provided links to several sites to help her figure this out.

Sadly, Janet US, she's not willing to check official sources. She's
repeating stuff she's heard on the radio or that which has been repeated
by someone who listens to this radio program. Oh well.

The children of the people who were fucking like rabbits at 16 probably
can't accept that their parents had sex.

No. All dads of every generation don't like some
jackass boyfriend trying to get into their little girls pants.

We know that we always tried to do that when young
so we know how any boyfriend thinks too.

You just speak in ingnorance with the subject. If you had
a daughter yourself, you would agree. It's just a Dad
thing which you have no clue about.

Interesting here that neither of you have kids, yet you're
both experts on the subject.

Us old parents know the deal.
Doesn't mean we have to approve of it.

Yes, that's the problem. Just like Republicans think the economy is
more important than the environment. It's Republican thinking that's
destroying the planet.

I hear and read about all these fancy brands, then I buy Fry's.
