After eating:

I mixed some cooked chopped veggies with some precooked spaghetti pasta and ate it for my dinner and it's now 8PMish and too late to drink any more coffee, so I will just listen to Youtubes, maybe a PBS show until later and have a fruit snack before bed.

I eschewed TV years ago! I wasted far too many years of my life in front of that Idiot Box!

Carb Coma - that's funny, I like that. In Hawaii, it's called a "kanak attack." Don't ask me why.

Why? Allergic to the mineral content 'Hard water"? I lived in House Springs for most of the 1980's and we used to get well water whose mineral content was so high it would accumulate on the electric heating elements of our water heater causing them to fail/burn out and need replacement and form little white flakes in our ice cubes! But Mother Gaia's spring/well water is always high in mineral content and probably kept zillions of humans alive for millenia.

And YOU have to buy 40# bags of water softener CHEMICALS? Bah! What a waste of MONEY and health!

I understand that there's some tension with all the changes but I'm pretty sure Americas would just freak out if that ever happened to them. It opened my eyes to how racially uptight Americans are.

The locals here love to hear racial, not racist, jokes about ourselves. Meanwhile, in the states, you got half the population complaining about racism, and that other half completely oblivious to what's going on. As you say, you don't see what the problem is. Undoubtedly, you do not. That's the real problem.

I have no idea why you say that. I've lived on the mainland. Have you ever lived in Hawaii? It seems yoose knows nothing about Hawaii or the mainland.

"Polyglot" is a weird way to say "bilingual." I'll give you a pass because you're obviously going bonkers being trapped in your small cube. By "polyglot" you probably mean American English and Mexican Spanish. My guess in some parts of the US, Mexican Spanish is the language spoken by the majority of the population, or soon will be. If you're implying that being bilingual means racial harmony - that's cool. I'll just write that down as some kind of GM logic. Not to worry though - you get a pass to say any and all sorts of nutty-ass utterings for the next 9 months or so. Have fun! 🤡

Do they eat that much steak? I thought the Americans were much bigger
beef eaters. 110 oz quarter pounders with a bucket of extra sweet ice
tea kinda thing.

I like canned salmon; goooooood stuff for salmon patties. Chicken of the
Sea brand makes small tuna-sized cans of boneless skinless salmon.

I'm not a fan of children's books but I have a copy of 'The Tale of
Fatty Coon' by Arthur Scott Bailey that belonged to my father.
Initially it belonged to his older brother. It was probably handed down
to my uncle, maybe from an older classmate. A fun read with interesting
moral lessons. Don't steal the farmer's corn! If you cross the road to
get to the corn you might get run over by an automobile! A 1915 automobile.

Steal and eat the corn when it's green and you'll get a whopping
belly-ache. Your mother told you not to! Yeah, fun lessons featuring a
fat raccoon. Nice interesting plate/illustrations in the book.

I have another primer/reader that contains fairy tales. 'Story Hour
Readers Revised Book Two', Coe & Christie. Ida Coe, Pd.M and Alice
Christie Dillon, 1914, 1923. I've obviously got the later edition. LOL

First tale in that book is called 'Queen Mab'. :) Hmmm, I remember
Queen Mab being mentioned in Shakespeare plays. Also in the list of
stories is the ubiquitous 'Three Wishes'. Be careful! Again the plate
illustrations in these old books are fun.

I like these books because they've been handed down.
