I can't argue with that, but there are cable and satellite which offer a wide variety of programming. Then there are DVDs, Netflix and other streaming options. I just finished watching a mini series on Netflix, Unorthodox, the story of a young bride who escapes from her ultra orthodox Jewish community in New York. It was great, |

There are so many details of his life posted here by him that no needs to spy on him of to monitor FB. I realize that FB likes to get information about people's online product searches. Maybe what we should all do after looking for what we really want is to search something strange, like assassins for hire, how to blow up an armored limo, look for helicopter pilots willing to extract an inmate from a prison. I would draw the line at kiddie porn. If there are computers running algorithms to look for people looking for stuff like that, give them so much they will be overwhelmed. Maybe you will start getting more interesting ads of FB than the stuff you were really interested in. But... we all have to do it. |

Those restaurants haven't been making them from scratch, anyway. Now they have a surplus of frozen fries. Urging people to take the frozen fries surplus off their hands. Take them home and cook them. I haven't deep fried anything in years. I buy frozen fries and bake them in the oven. Or people could use those air-fryer things. AT HOME. They're just trying to not let food usually served in restaurants go to waste simply because the restaurants aren't open to use up all this frozen food. That's my take on it. Jill |

BTW, none of the salmon I've ever bought was "fresh". It's flown in frozen and then thawed and placed on beds of ice at the fish counter. To use that to make salmon patties you'd have to steam or poach it to get it flake-tender. Kind of a waste of money for something you're going to mix together with any kind of filler and turn into patties. The canned stuff works fine for me. The better canned stuff isn't mostly water and skins and cheapo no taste salmon. I don't actually care if no on else likes it. Jill |
