Just a correction, Jill. Snuff is powdered tobacco that you
sniff up your nose to get a quick hit of nicotine.
Same as sniffing a line of cocaine for that drug.
I never tried snuff.
 
Chewing tobacco is the moistened tobacco that you put
"between cheek and gum" to more slowly get nicotine.
That's what they spit out occasionally as saliva dissolves it.
 
I did try that once. A guy I worked with used it and
I asked him for a bit to try. Horrors. Rather than occasionally
spit out saliva, I spit the entire mess out a few seconds
later. arrghh! ;)

And yes, when I went in and deleted or faked all my Facebook 2006 data 2006 or so and when I first started getting suspicious, and eventually learned about Surveillance Capitalism! The nazi flags, etc. are not indicative of the viewpoints of the
protesters. They are the protesters making the case that those being

Using Virginia Beach as an example, a spike in Covid from this
weekend won't show up here. Any people that come here for the
holiday weekend will go back to where ever they came from
and then get sick there later on. The tourists come from far
and wide - even hundreds of miles away.
 
I suspect that during or after this weekend, local news will
report a serious lack of tourists this year, as compared to
normal years.
 
Probably low volume of tourists all summer long this year.
 
Next huge tourist time will be 4th of July weekend, and then
finally Labor Day weekend in September.

We scrounged dinner because I had a busy afternoon of yard work on the
first sunny day after a bunch of rain.
 
My dinner was a salad dressed with a white-wine vinaigrette with Penzey's
Greek seasoning. Feta on the side.
 
His was a small plate of cut up carrot, cucumber, and radish, followed by
a small plate of pepperoni, cheese, and olives.

I had leftover polenta and meatballs. Try as I might, I just don't like
meatballs and proportionally there were more meatballs than polenta. So...
Not too good. Will probably be hamburger gravy over mashed potatoes later
today unless I find something that looks better at the store.

I've read here about hamburger gravy several times.
I've never made that gravy as it's all fat and not a
healthy fat. Isn't that something that should be tossed
and not make gravy from?

I presume hamburger gravy is made like sausage gravy, where you fry the
meat, pour off most of the fat, make a roux, then add some other liquid.

Weird, ain't it? The brown bag it was new with crisp folds and the brownies were carefully wrapped in foil so as to not mess up that delicate surface. I was at a restaurant supply place and when I come back, there it was on the back seat. My wife seemed to be revulsed and said to dump it. That doesn't seem right. I mean, it's not like it's a human leg or anything.

I've been waiting for the makeup issue to reappear to say
one last thought on the subject.
 
The skin does absorb things applied to it at least to some
extent.
 
How about an ingredient list from you for the more
common makeup products that are used?
 
Just to name a few to help you out:
- eye shadow
- lipstick
- spray on (airbrushed) skin color

I'd expect traditional liquid foundation to be much more common,
