I wouldn't have known ferret in French, but I do now.

There's English and there's American. Same thing :)

Somebody piss you off and call you a Chink/Jap/slant eyes?

Did I hurt your feelings? Good. 😭

You started off great but quickly went downhill. Hawaiians are considered
the coolest of cool people?? Nobody gives them a second thought nor Texans
or Floridians or Virginians or Tennesseans and the list goes on.

Really? Everybody wants to be dsi1 and live in a paradise? Live in a
state that to get to another state or one of the other islands you have
to jump on a plane? No thanks.

Believe it or not, I was thinking if you had a plank or a child's slide
how would it work to push those bags down the steps?

He couldn't manage a speaker a few months ago so you know he couldn't
handle a 40 lb. bag with a handle on it.

He dropped a McIntosh 2105 Amp. As far as I know, 65 lbs weighs more than 40 lbs.

They probably limit the speed/bandwidth each individual user gets, to
avoid hogging. Of course, if they have many users at the same time...

Cheap flat screen TV's are one of the splendid fruits of capitalism, graham...

I never much liked wearing hats, but now that my forehead extends to the
back of my head it is matter of safety and skin health. I have been
seeing a dermatologist for a couple years now and getting things frozen.

Yes, I hurt your feelings. I can tell.

I'm not wild about mangos either. Maybe I should try them again and see
if my taste buds like them this time.

This is a weekly pointer to the rec.food.cooking FAQ and conversion
file. If you do not want to see it every week, you should put the
title, which will not change, into your killfile.

The rec.food.cooking FAQ and conversion file is posted monthly to
rec.food.cooking, rec.food.recipes, rec.answers and news.answers. It is
also available as an easy-to-navigate frames version at

There is both a link to a no-frames version and a built-in no-frames
content for older or text-only browsers.

The rec.food.cooking FAQ and conversion file has two parts. The first
part covers conversion and equivalence. Tables are given for conversion
of oven temperatures, food names, weights and measures. Some useful
substitutions for unavailable ingredients are suggested.

The second part is more descriptive. It outlines some of the commonly
discussed topics of rec.food.cooking and explains a number of food
terms. It also lists other food-related newsgroups and mailing lists,
as well as food-related FAQs, recipe archives and other food/cooking
sites.

Are you sure? I've read lots of privacy statements of US companies,
explaining what data they collect, what they do with it, how long they
keep it after users leave and what users can request from them with
regard to deleting and sharing those data. All very detailed. I can
hardly imagine that Zuckerberg can do anything he wants. Maybe
anonymised data are another matter.
