How do we know it's a china virus? It was first noticed in wuhan,
but could have been introduced by a dutch tourist who went there,
simply because there were millions of chinese asses to sniff!

You could have started it Druce.]

In a few days, Druce will rename it ... Chink 19.

It was the Wuhan virus and then it was the Corona virus and then after
people whined about racism they changed it to Covid 19. It started it
Wuhan China. It spread across Wuhan to the rest of China and then to the
rest of the world while China was reluctant to admit that there was a
problem. If it has started in Canada or the US or some other country
with a diverse population one could call it the American virus or the
Canadian virus without identifying a particular race. This one started
in China, a country with more than a billion Chinese people. It is
about the country, not the ethnicity.

Wasn't the Mexican Flu called just that? Or else Swine Flu or Taco
Cough? What's wrong with that? So this is Covid-19, China Virus or
Dimsim Cough?

I am challenging a racist remark, why do you feel it is for you to
tell me what I should do?

It doesn't end there, if it is called C Virus then that inspires
racially minded people to pick on people of Chinese descent here.
They have picked on a friend of mine here and it was her
great-great-great grandfather who came here to help with the railway
but liked it so much he never went west. She is more Haligonian than
most of the bloody racists who try to call her out. It's disgusting.

It would be okay, if there weren't so many racists around. Their
comments really hurt people even though they are quite ridiculous and
say more about the speaker than the recipient.

A racist remark? The virus came from China. I call cheese from France
French cheese. Nothing wrong with that. You can stick your racism
comment up your you know what.

Chinese background people in Canada have nothing to do with this.
You're just a member of the Politically Correct Language Police.

But we can hardly start talking differently because there are racist
retards around. They'll be racist retards regardless of you and me.

300º is 300º if it's the oven, grill, or smoker!

I'm aware of those thick filters.  I used the word typical on purpose.
The crappy filters are good for 30 days at best.

Only fools and people without kids would think it's okay to make comments about other people's kids. Your qualifications, on both counts, are impeccable. My guess is that you should try to get a life of your own.

You should try reading what you wrote.

"Of course she did. Your children are perfect. You have that in common
with Janet UK. She also has perfect children. Isn't that wonderful?"

You're so interested in my kids? My daughter was toasting coffee grounds in the oven the other day. She's also keeping egg shells. My guess is that she's going to grind it all up and make some kind of facial scrub. She's into making potions and concoctions. Today she made a lemon/sour cream pound cake. Pretty cool, eh?

That's not a comment on your children, but on you.

Thing is, he bought and *microwaved* a cheap pizza at a convenience
store. Based on the description I have no doubt it sucked. Microwaved
pizza, really?

I'm amazed at people who think using the oven for a few minutes in the
summer will heat up the entire house to the point where it's
uncomfortable. I live in the south where it gets really hot and hey,
turning on the oven for about 20 minutes doesn't heat up the entire
house. Neither does cooking anything on the stovetop.
