I agree, John. Changing your dose might be too many changes too fast.

Thanks Ophelia! Yep, I have the coffee pot set up to make a fresh pot and my big Thermos ready nearby and my lunchtime bagel sandwich made up and wrapped in foil in the fridge, my scrubs clean and ready to go! First few PAID days are orientation and learning how to use their electronic charting tools. Then next week, nursing work, for 6 more years I hope! Then I will be 66 and ready to retire on full SocSec payout of over $1500/mo. Plus my house earns me $$ too! :-)

Anyone making something special for it?

My husband has a family tradition of a special meal that day but he
said it's not any one special dish (like Thanksgiving etc.). He did
recall well though that it was a family affair and everyone had a small
job or (once older) dish to make. He said they also added a small yard
project but always something to 'improve the house or yard a little'.

We've picked a simple project here. I have a little plot of dirt
bordered by sidewalk and driveway. It's about 8 inches front to back
and 2.5ft long. We are going to weed it then fill with more gardening
dirt and put in some flower seeds.

Shopping tomorrow as we are out of fresh fruit. Don wants to make his
green bean dish which means I make a white sauce with lots of white
melty cheeses (guryere sp? and havarti appeal). Acorn squash with
brown sugar. He wants me to make baguette-type bread and prepare some
garlic butter.

I'm thinking a whole cleaned trout would be good but shall see what
wonders the store has!

Rest of you? Any traditions?

No, no special meal or project here although most of the family did show up
at the cemetery and place flowers on graves. Got to see some relatives that
I've not seen for a few years.

High schools have been closed for two months and it took you this long
to come up with that stupid question?

Just do it for 89 seconds, and then do it again for one more second.

I did it 30 seconds three times. Came out perfect.

You did take a risk, though.

But how do you get PTSD from a lot of potatoes?

Maybe when all the other sailors shoved them potatoes in popeye's ass.

You are not supposed to flush facial tissues. They might go down your
toilet, but they make clog further down.

You'll cause a clog further down. When people couldn't get TP here, they
were using tissues. The water dept. sent out emails and snail mails telling
people to stop.

You may have to be at the stores before 7:00 to find any. I think you said
there is not a Walmart near you but you may have to make an early morning
trip there as well.

I was at Lowe's Home Improvement a couple of weeks ago and even they were
stocking toilet paper.

Everyone has TP here now. There is a shortage of inexpensive plastic bags
though.

How does that work? Does the water have to be heated before you apply it? We used to get ice water coming out of the faucets when we lived out there. That was pretty cool - literally.

The problem here, is the hoarding. Now whenever I see it or paper towels, I
buy them. At one point, our Governor said he might close all the grocery
stores because workers were getting sick. So that put people in a panic.

They get out the birds with big tits when they see Popeye walk in.
