I'd eat it all. Some things smell bad but taste good. Limburger, for
instance. I like kimchi too.

The Korean style will typically have a bright red look to it and is fermented. The Hawaiian style will have a cleaner look and will not be fermented. It will also be less
spicy. People that love Korean food will probably not care for Hawaiian kim chee. OTOH, it might be just perfect for people that have never tried kimchi before.

Strange that Hawaii isn't even mentioned in the Wikipedia article
about kimchi :)

I'd put an entry in the wikipedia but I don't really care. The name "wikipedia" comes from the Hawaiian word wikiwiki, which means "quickly."

Of course not, then it would be Vikipedia. That don't make no stinkin' sense.

My guess is that the English version is Wiki because Vicky is a girl's name in most normal thinking countries.

A couple days? I might have eaten it anyway. It was fermented at or near
room temperature before it was refrigerated.

Why would your wife and SIL put something that was cold to the touch
into the cupboard?

I suspect that "functional" might have been a better word choice than "normal".

"water, pea protein isolate*, expeller-pressed canola oil, refined
coconut oil, contains 2% or less of the following: cellulose from
bamboo, methylcellulose, potato starch, natural flavor, maltodextrin,
yeast extract, salt, sunflower oil, vegetable glycerin, dried yeast,
gum arabic, citrus extract (to protect quality), ascorbic acid (to
maintain color), beet juice extract (for color), acetic acid, succinic
acid, modified food starch, annatto (for color)"

A science project, but also notice the missing ingredient: animal
cruelty.

I made beef (hamburger) tacos with McCormick's taco seasoning, fried corn
tortillas, Campari tomatoes, shredded cheese and lettuce with a tad of
Cholla per taco. The taco shells were a month old. Still Okay. Yay!
Tonight, we're scrounging various leftovers.

What you say sounds reasonable but I sure hope you're dead wrong! My dentist says that I ought to drink more water because my teeth are going all to hell. He told me to drink some ridiculous amount of water. These days I can only drink one or two ounces at a time. I may be metamorphosing into a reptile.

Why yes, people on this group need to be frequently reminded that we're the only two people in this group that has been licensed to speak for the entire country.

1 or 2 fl. ounces = 30 or 60 ml = 2 or 4 tablespoons of water?

Yes, a swallow or two. My guess is that I could just drop dead at any moment.

That's very little. I think I drink a litre (30 flozzies?) of water
during the day. The recommendation is a lot more, I think.

We have a Tractor Supply in Sparks. It took over an old Target store. I see
it's even traded on NASDAQ. I've never been in the store, because it
looks like that's where work begins.
