I really wish I knew why, if he is so thrilled he got a job, he's resorting to yelling and cussing at people on RFC. We don't really have anything to do with his work hours or the nurses on staff. He said "I don't know the facilities too well or the population or especially the computerized charting tools. But I'm GONNA, because I can do anything a similarly talented human can do!" Well then, why is he yelling at everyone on RFC? Because he hasn't figured it out yet? Oh, I thought he had a computer engineering degree and it was a three day on the job training program to learn the charting software and also how to figure out your duties. So, now he's saying "So go FUCK yourself in the ass with a razor wire wrapped telephone pole". Really, we're suppose to think this is a post from a guy who is going to be successful in his "new job"? I just don't get that much wood from them as they are semi-dwarf and dwarf types (for the rest, that's a tree size designation). The trimmings do smell nice when we burn them in the fall in the fireplace! None left now so got a simple bag of them (kinda came with the unit). The other thing I have is LOTS of pecan. Comes from my backyard neighbor's tree. It's a more delicate flavor but works. I suspect superior for fish? While we have had smokers before, they were an adjunct to a charcol grill and didn't really use that feature much. My ears are open if you have any experience here! |

In 2017 457 whites were killed compared to 223 blacks in the same year. In 2018 it was 399 whites compared to 209 blacks while in 2019 there were 370 whites killed vs. 235 blacks. So them being targeted, singled out, or profiled doesn't wash. I don't recall reading one single protest, rally, riot, march, sit-in, looting or burning because some white person was killed by the police. |

The chart is broken down into the races and the years. I'm sorry you are unable to read the chart. I cannot make it any plainer for you nor do I have the inclination to have a small one-on-one class with pointer in hand. Can someone help out Bruce on this simple chart, he's having great difficulty. |

I am not sure that he is capable on understanding that it is not only black people having fatal encounters with the police. There is not doubt that on a per capita basis it happens more to blacks than white, but it happens to people of other races too. The big difference is that when it happens to black people you can be bet that there with be protests, warranted or not, and that there is a pretty good chance that the protests will lead to riots, arson and looting. That doesn't happen with the other demographics. There were protests in Toronto today on solidarity with the protests in the US, but they are also protesting the death of a black woman in the city. The deal there was that the police had three calls about a woman in distress, and two of them said she was brandishing knife. The police attended. The woman jumped/fell off the 24th floor balcony and died. The mother, who was out in the hallway at the time said the cops pushed her over. It was later clarified that she felt that the cops had pushed her, but that no one saw it happened that way. So now there are all kinds of people protesting about the cops pushing the woman over the balcony even thought it did not happen that way. |

Bruce may me a little too dense to realize that the fact that there were no protests or riots when whites and "others" were killed eliminates the need for per capita stats. If it happened somewhere near the per capita rate and there was a statistically significant difference he might have a nit to pick, but the fact that it happens only with black deaths dispenses with the need for per capita rates. |

There's no law that says you have to keep everything separate.
