Paying people on calendar dates instead of a regular schedule requires the use of sophisticated high-speed digital computers. Yoose guys should really try getting some. |

I suppose the answer to that is "because > they can." State and federal employees are paid every 2 weeks, 26 times a year. Normally it breaks out as 2 per month. This month for me it was: 1May, 15 May, 29 May. Next month will be 12 June, 26 June. Long gone are the days when you got overtime if you did more one week than the other collectively within a pay period. Salaried employees like John, probably don't get overtime until he hits a set limit that is past 40 hours a week but right now, he's at 40 on average. I wish him well! |

There's some state jobs in Hawaii that still pay overtime. The situation is a little nutty because some people are able to get as much overtime as they can grab. I'm talking about months of overtime. I wish Mr. Kuthe well too, some folks here would like him to fail and fall on his ass. These are not nice people. |

That's exactly why we need laws to prevent black people from ever being arrested/murdered. Just give them a ticket. Let them go free. No riots. A policeman isn't a doctor, and cannot access how much meth and heroin is in the man's system. Far safer to turn the innocent man loose than risk an arrest. No riots. |

That is slightly more than the weekend that my wife and son went there for a family funeral about 5 years ago. I thought they had set a record at that time with 44. My wife's father had been raised in Engelwood in the very early 1900s. She wanted to go and see the house and neighbourhood, but our son refused to go there. |

That happened with the guy who was in the back of a transport and allegedly taken for a rough ride. The shit hit the fan about white cops intentionally killing a black man, but then it turned out that guys in the transport unit were not white. |

I just don't get that much wood from them as they are semi-dwarf and dwarf types (for the rest, that's a tree size designation). The trimmings do smell nice when we burn them in the fall in the fireplace! None left now so got a simple bag of them (kinda came with the unit). The other thing I have is LOTS of pecan. Comes from my backyard neighbor's tree. It's a more delicate flavor but works. I suspect superior for fish? While we have had smokers before, they were an adjunct to a charcol grill and didn't really use that feature much. My ears are open if you have any experience here! |
