Of course they turned out more tender after you thawed them first. Jill |

It is a good amount of sugar but in Hawaii, people are liable to use twice as much sugar. I reduced it some for mainland tastes. Back in the old days, we made this dish with butterfish. These days, butterfish is kind of expensive so salmon makes a good substitute, as would Chilean sea bass. https://www.hawaiimagazine.com/blogs/hawaii_today/2010/1/12/butterfish_Hawaii_recipe |

How about you tell me about this curry blend that goes with powdered cheese and deyhrated bits of broccoli with what is basically minute-rice in a pouch? Jill |

He made it to Huntsville before he had to stop to charge up to make it the rest of the way, so he had to sit there and wait for quite a while before he was back on the road. |

Do let us know after you try the recipe. Once upon a time I had a knack for making biscuits... and lost it. No matter what recipe I try or how little I work the dough, biscuits I make from scratch turn out like hockey pucks. I'm really glad I found these raw frozen biscuits. Jill |

Beat the heavy cream first then add the Bordens. Better than banana ice cream is pure frozen banana... peel, wrap in waxed paper, twist the ends, and pop in the freezer. After freezing can be dipped in melted chocolate and crushed peanuts if desired, and freeze a bit longer. I enjoy observing a group of gals tackling frozen bananas for all their different techniques... always one killjoy who asks for a knife and fork.:( |
